View Full Version : Who's next?

So, in your opinion, who is next on Amerika's hitlist?
I'd say Iran. The US have recently spoke on how they will not allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons and the whole world and it's mother knows that Iran are close to reaching the point. Also, Isreal are fucking scared, they know Iran would have no qualms about nuking them to kingdom come. If Isreal attack, the US attacks. If the US can dispose of the Iranian leadership as easily as how they've shown they can do in Iraq and Afghanistan, I'm pretty sure Isreal will have no problem launching a pre-emptive attack to get the US to ensure they [Isreal] can continue to slaughter Palastinians.

I think the Bush administration is going to have tread lightly in that area of the Middle East. Iran is already close to having it's leadership overthrown without our interference. I think the only way America is going to launch an offensive on Iran is if Israel or the UN decide to do it first.
If it was America launching the first attack, I think they'd strike Syria. It seems to be the next likely place for Bush to make a stronghold in the Middle East.

...and then maybe attack Lebanon. Just for the hell of it.

Once Syria is out of the way, Lebanon will undergo another political crisis. It's still recovering from it's last one. It's unlikely America will have to use force against them. The collapse of the Syrian government should be enough to push Lebanon down, also.

North Korea. Just because Bush seems stupid enough to do it.

He might be stupid enough, but his advisors are the one's who run the show. I doubt they're that stupid...

Bush won't attack North Korea simply because they claim to have a working nuclear missle. While he is stupid, niether he nor his advisors are stupid enough to actually attack a nuclear power. It's too dangerous to start a war with a country that can use the ultimate weapon against you.
Besides, America's allies in the Asian continent would never support a war in North Korea. South Korea and Japan would condemn us. They would be valuable support we'd need against North Korea and it's 1 million man army.

Japan and South Korea aren't the problem. The problem is China... They will never allow the US to control a country adjoining them. Even if it means war.

Very true. A point I forgot to add in my previous post. And as China is a nuclear power, we have to be very careful when it comes to our behavior around them. Just as they do around us.

Yeah and their army is bigger than our population, or something like that.

Russia Still has the biggest Nuclear Stockpile in the World. They
just follow the treedy. The US actually paid for Korea's Nukes. We
where making deals with them two Years back.
The US may not use Dirty Bombs in Battle, but we still test and
Develop them in the Pacific Ocean. There are radioactive Islands
with 200 foot deep Craters not far from Hawaii.
Korea is slave to the US mutch like most European,Asian, and
3rd world Countrys are.We will keep pounding the Middle East
till we have all the Oil(hence the Oil for Food Program!).You
actually think we are over there because of Terrorists? Hell
Saddam and Osama have been on the US Governments
Payroll for the pas 20+ Years.Osama is a ex CIA agent mutch
like Noriega who was almosta US senetor at one time till we
Shot him to death.Saddam was making Billions off of the US
till about 1999.
People are Ignorant to the Fact that Saddam,Osama,Noriega
all where ether high ranking US Government officials or
recieving huge payments from the US(even under the Bush sr
Administration) up until ~1 Year before we whent after them.
It's all about Money not Pride or Justice to the US Politicians!
I would like to see someone prove me wrong.Even the Black
Right movement people like Jesse Jackson, and Al Sharpton
are playing Lap-Dog to all the Politicians.1 1/2 Years ago a
Group of Black US chairman where publicly humiliated on the
US senate floor and those two had nothing to say because of
other "More Important Financial Obligations"they where dealing
with.

In a word: bullshit. Mind, I don't blame you for thinking so considering the neverending river of sludge pouring from the mainstream media, but think about what's happened in the Middle East since 9-11.
1) The two largest political parties in post-Saddam Iraq SCIRI (Supreme Council for Islamic Revolution in Iraq) and Dawa, are both Shiite fundamentalist blocs with funding ties that all lead back to Iran. If Iran is attacked, then both of those parties have plenty of support to make the lives of US forces stationed in Iraq short, painful, and miserable.
2) Much of the domestic support for Iran's regieme change comes from activist students and newspapers. Independant polls of public opinion within the IRI show that the mainstream attitude is to enjoy a period of relative political stability within the country. They might not have civil liberties in Iran, but it's people seem content to not be killing or dying in as large nubers have they have been in recent years.
3) The evidence for WMDs in Iraq seems to have come from intelligence sources (remember Curveball?) and anonymous tips coming from... you guessed it, Iran. If you'll remember, the IRI had a vested interest in removing Saddam from power. Saddam routinely used the threat of Iranian invasion to keep his people scared and in line. With Saddam gone, Iran can make political inroads to pacifying/controlling Iraq. Does that sound like a regieme ready to be overthrown to you? Cuz to me it sounds like Iran is getting ready for prime time.

Osama Bin Laden actually was trained by the CIA in warfare and covert operations to fight off the Soviet Union when it invaded Afganistan to stop the spread of democracy.

The chance of an offensive from the US is still there, but like I said, it would only be done if war was already claimed by either Israel or the UN. While it is true that fighting a war in Iran would make the US forces stationed in Iraq very difficult, and would probably force those troops to leave the country, the possibility is still there.
But what I meant by what I said in my previous post about the government being close to overthrown is true. Most of Iran's population does not support the royal family, nor the government form it is under. While that doesn't exactly mean that most of the people there want to be "Westernized," it still stands that the government itself is holding on by a few threads of control.

It wasn't the US that wanted to stop the spread of democracy, it was the Soviet Union. Similiar to how the US wanted to stop the spread of communism, and so they invaded Vietnam and North Korea.
