Im sure anyone who has even a slight interest in this band has heard the news. System of a Down are releasing two new albums... yes, you did read that right. TWO! The first of which is called Mesmerize (sp?) which contains the song BYOB which has been released already. Also, another few songs have leaked or been played live.

The songs I have are BYOB, Cigaro, Holy Mountain and Kill Rock 'n' Roll. If you want me to send them to ya, PM me.
(Don't ask me to e-mail them to you if you have an attatchment limit on your e-mail account of 10MB per file or less.)

May 31 is the first album and another 6 months until their second one will be released.

If you think two is good, John Frusciante (from R.H.C.P.) put out 6 consecutive albums in 6 consecutive months. That is an incredible feat.

I haven't heard any of the new songs yet. I don't think I would like them though because I don't really like SOAD. To each his own though.

I liked a few of their singles, but the new ones just sound too harsh for me.

I knew they were putting out a new album, but two? I had no idea.

Of all the songs available for listening, I've only heard Cigaro. It's good. Not much different from anything else of theirs, but still good.

Stone, e-mail me the rest, please. I'm so lonely.

I now have Mezmerize, and I love it! It's not long enough, but it's a good album.

I burned it for a friend last night but didnt have time to listen to it myself, and after work today he told me there were a few cool songs but he didnt like most of it... so I was pissed, thinking it was going to be a dissapointment but it's far from it.

SoaD rule!

The second album is called "Hypnotise" and is supposedly to contain Holy Mountain.

Holy Mountain has replaced P.L.U.C.K as the song they play at the end of their live acts and signify remembrance the Armenian Genocide.
