I am aware that some Internet sites sell it and I am going to order some but... Where in a decent sized city would someone buy powdered Lidocaine? Head shop?, medical supply company? Is it available in a regular drug store or maybe a health foods store like GNC here in the US?

Try calling all of thsoe palces and ask if they have it, or go to a pharmacy like rite aid, savon etc. and ask the pharmacist if they have it, if they dont, he might be able to tell you where you could find it.

Why the fuck would you want lidocaine? It's no use to you. I can only think of one thing you'd use it for, and if so, then shame on you, motherfucker. Coke should be clean.

Speaking of Lidocaine, what the hell can anyone do with a whole bunch of packs of Lidocaine patches...they're huge, and they work well when applied directly to problem areas. BUT, I've always wondered if I can do anything else with them. Anyone?

Because lidocaine is found as a water-soluble white powder (in the most common non-topical form prior to packaging) it is used as a cutting agent. The advantage over, say, talc of washing soda is that it has a powerful numbing effect so if rubbed on the gums (to field-test coke's potency or legitimacy) the gums will numb up very quickly, leading buyers to think they're getting a very good batch; when in reality they're just getting a mixture of n-caines and sodium gate neural blockers that will usually give you a heart attack after a single bump.
it's dodgy shit, done by assholes who are into drugs for money and not the experience of the drug itself. Thoroughly unscrupulous and liable tog et you shot if somebody finds out there's lido in their coke.

Interesting... I know guys around here used to cut coke with glucose, but I've never heard of lidocaine...
Do you know of a way to test the coke when buying seeing as gumming it will still cause numbness?

*shrug* Marquis will tell you what's in there, but it won't tell you how much. most field testing reagents are only effective at crude qualitative analysis. You'd have to run a proper GC/MS to get exact proportions and identifications, but things like Marquis will identify if it's been cut with other illicit substances (albeit, a narrow spectrum therin)
