(E)book Forum(s)?

There are plenty of forums around with downloadable movies, TV shows, music, but I'm having a hard time finding books. There are always the classics and computer books online, but where are the forums with a heavy selection? For example, books advertised on internationalliving.com or escapeartist.com (but if they don't turn up on your links, fine).

EDIT: Oh, and I don't mean the shitty free ebook sites that have nothing but crappy titles no one has ever heard of, or titles from the 1800's.

No, I'm just complaining I don't have invites should I need or want to give them out. New accounts on Demonoid don't have that privilege.

Yes I think you have to have a ratio of 2 or over 1 (cannot remember) for over a month.

Also, check out audible.com. They are having a 14 day trial promotion, where you get credit for one free audiobook. After you get that you can just cancel your membership. I got World War Z by Max Brooks. Not my first choice of book, but a stunning cast for an audiobook.

Yeah, probably. I've been above .9 for awhile though. I think the FAQ said two months for new members.

Finally got around to actually using that invitation code, and I'm absolutely loving this. A lot of good stuff, good quality, and no viruses (Im hoping). Isohunt screwed me over there.

Demonoid is supposed to be virus free. People caught doing it will get banned, so I'm sure the actual probability is pretty low. I have linux, so I don't worry.

Yeah, thats half the reason I wanted to join. Isohunt has demonoid torrents in some of its searches, but it seems to have viruses in just about every file, no matter where its from. Better to go straight from the source.

The thing about demonoid is that as soon as a bad torrent is discovered an admin is alerted and the torrent removed and the offender dealt with. It's a pretty safe place to avoid malware.

And everyones really nice. I found a torrent of issues 1-663 of Batman. Someone said they found one corrupted issue, and within the next day he fixed about 10 issues.

So, this is going to sound like a really stupid question (because it is) but I just can't figure it out. Using Isohunt there wasn't any concern for my membership so I just downloaded, and never uploaded. Now that I'm on Demonoid it's probably best for it to be give and take, and actually seed things. How do I go about seeding?

To seed, just leave the file on your torrent client. I have bittornado, so I don't have a fancy all-in-one screen, but once the download is done, I live the window open because it still uploads.

Re-open the torrent file? or there should be a seeding option in programs such as Azureus.
