How to get free Satellite TV through Dish Network and Bell Express Vu

This tutorial will cover the basics in obtaining and utilizing the necessary tools to gain access to free Satellite TV. Just like its bootleg cable counterparts, bootleg satellite provides you with full access to all channels (including PPV and Porn) as well as High Definition channels. But the best part is that unlike bootleg cable, it is impossible to be caught by the satellite providers. In simple terms, satellite TV is a one way encrypted signal which means that you can never be traced by using it. Please note that SWIM provided this information and though I verify it works I take no responsibility for what you do with this information. Use at your own risk.

How it works:
DirectTV, Dish Network, and Bell Express Vu use satellites in geosynchronous orbit to transmit encrypted digital media streams to your house. Unlike DirecTV which hasn't been successfully hacked in years, Dish Network and Bell Express Vu utilize a compromised encryption known as Nagravision 2 to transmit their MPEG-2 streams. This means anyone with a Free to Air (FTA) satellite box that supports Nagravision 2 can watch free TV.

Equipment:
There are 2 main items you will need: a satellite dish and a FTA box. You will also need mounting tools (screwdriver, wrenches, and a compass to name a few).

Satellite Dish: Any satellite dish with a circular LNB will work, but I recommend getting a Dish Network Dish-500 satellite dish as this will allow you to receive both the main satellites of either Dish Network or Bell Express Vu. You can pick up a satellite dish from eBay for around $50 dollars but it is sometimes easier to pick them up for cheap at a yard sale or off of someone else's yard.

Satellite Box: I recommend either a Pansat, Viewsat, or Coolsat box. Once again these can be found at eBay but I would recommend buying from a certified dealer as cloned boxes from China tend to break easily and don't always handle the firmware flashes correctly. Some legitimate dealers are h**p://www.ftapalace.com/ and h**p://www.pansatdirect.net/usa/ though there are countless others.

Installation:
Once you have the proper equipment search for a good place to install your satellite. Use this tool (h**p://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZYQ1E1WS) to find the exact angle (as well as the proper azimuth and elevation) to point your dish and make sure that it has a clear line of sight (no trees or other obstacles can be in the way). The easiest way of lining up the dish with the satellite is to use a Satellite finder (usually included with the Satellite box). This item makes a shrill noise when you get a signal so you place the dish in the general direction of the satellite and slowly move it until you hear something. Once installed, connect the satellite dish via coaxial cables to the DiSEqC Switch (h**p://www.roxsat.biz/images/PANSAT4X1_300.jpg) provided with your box. This switch will generally take in 4 LNBs (the circle things on the satellite) and provide 1 receiver output that goes to your satellite box. Once you have hooked up the switch to the satellite, plug it into the satellite box. Now you are almost ready to go, but you will need a special firmware flash to enable the decryption of Nagravision 2. The FTA box makers can't include it for fear of lawsuits so its released thru "gray" channels for them. To get the updated firmware, download it from either h**p://www.al7bar.tk or h**p://www.future-fta.info. These forums get all the new firmware flashes within hours of their release but they do tend to slow down from heavy user interaction. Once you have the updated firmware, follow the directions located on the aforementioned websites to load the satellites and enjoy your free untraceable Satellite TV!

Some Notes: Like bootleg cable, bootleg Satellite can have the occasional downtime to changes in the encryption keys. This generally lasts between a few hours to a few days before a fix is released. Note that this tends to happen during major events (like the Super Bowl) so it might be worth your time to have some basic cable, or even legitimate satellite as a backup.

Happy Pirating! Huh

Looks good. In about five years, though, most of the internet will be sharing pirated TV streams.

Are you sure this is untraceable? Because I was talking to my brother a while back who was living w/ a family who pirated satellite. However I think he also mentioned that it is traceable and comes with some major fines / jail time.

yupppp this works great been hacng it for like a year or so i recommend the viewsat ultra it allows for easy updates through a flash drive u can connect on its 2.0 usb front connector. it comes with a great universal control

u may need 2 dishes one dish 500 as he recommended preferable with quad dual lnb and to catch international channels u will need another dish to catch echostar 3 good luck guys

if anyone needs a great tutorial of switches just ask for it i have a great one for u... remember dishes changes t codes and viewsat and other boxes gets new updates ask me for a site i will be glad to give it to u i just dont want to post it in furom

FTA boxes are nearly untraceable. They are boxes that are produced legitimately to pick satellite transmissions that are freely available to anyone who has the equipment. They become illegal only when their firmware is rewritten to pick up services that require a subscription. However, FTA boxes do not use proprietary components from subscriber companies...so tracing them, although plausible, is relatively impossible...and not worth the effort (money) it would take for them to prove said individual is stealing satellite signals. I have been "testing" satellite signals for about 7 years now. FTA (Free To Air) is a really fun hobby. There are plenty of forums out there that give you step by step instructions and programming files on how to set up these boxes properly...and are available for FREE! Of course, you do have to be in a geographical area that receives a spot beam (satellite signal) from these providers. I have a few Coolsat receivers and they are absolutely amazing.

Oh yea!

In fact over here alot of the satelite only TV shows are freely available to watch and download from the Internet in good quality too!

I am currently in an RV motorhome with a motorized, roof mounted Dish 500 antenna with GPS satellite finder installed. Will I need to change my LNB before setting up the system, or can I continue using my current setup with the FTA box?

huh
21st October 2007, 05:14 PM
Th0r: All Pansat boxes are up and have been up and running since last summer. I have friends using the boxes and they have no problems.

Lostinthewoods: your current setup is fine all you need to do is hook up the FTA box.

And as a reiteration, this isn't traceable as its a one way signal to the box. The way DishNetwork monitors your box is via the phoneline connection it has to it. FTA boxes don't use the phone connection and are thus untraceable.

Hi
I am new here, but recently visted a friend who had a viewsat with a dish and got free tv. tons of channels all for free. Well I want to do this at our hunting camp. He said to get a viewsat ultra and a dish network dish -500. First is this what I want and if so can someone give me a website addrress to buy this equipment. he just uses a memory stick and downloads the codes from his computer then inserts it into the viewsat and viola instant tv. Do you guys think this will last long or will they find ways to hide the codes.. Also is it hard to set up this system. Right now we just have an antenna at our cabin, I am assuming I can mount the dish to the roof near the antenna and run it nto camp on that. thanks for the help in advance

ok I just spoke with a carl from sat-pros that i found on ebay, he said the viewsat ultra is 165.. and the dish -500 is 100.00 and a usb memory stick is 10.00 shipped to my door. Does this sound ok? also is there anything else that i need to ask for to get me up and running? Will this dish 500 work for what I want it to do? or should I get something better? Thanks for any help guys, I would love to have this up and running by deer season..

a) reading the thread
b) posting something meaningful?

I don't mean to be harsh, but what was the point of this?

I have downloaded the latest bins,
when I go to setup the echo sats, I can't scan all channels.
I think I need to setup antenna settings different.
Could you tell me the following.
I have a dishpro dual lnb.
LNB type:
LNB local freq:
22kHz:
DeSEqC:
Legacy SW:
Skew:
TP:
positioner Setting:
Satellite Scan:
Thanks in advance!
I only get about 120 channels on each echo satellite, they tell me I should get 300.

ok does nobody else find this kinda hard to follow if you know nothing about satellites. so heres SWIMs situation. he is moving into a house in a few weeks that already has a satellite mounted, SWIM is assuming the previouse renters will take the satellite (FTA) box with them when they go but leave the satellite. so SWIM will order a FTA off ebay. but then how does swim get a cable going from the satellite (outside on the roof) to the FTA box (in the living room), like does he have to drill holes through walls and that kinda shit? and also SWIM doesnt understand how downloading a firmware file on his computer ties into getting him free tv, why would a FTA box be able to hook up to a computer when theyre not built for that?

-also what are coaxile cable, and where does one get them
-and is the DISEqC swithc something on the back of a FTA box/satellite or is that something seperate that must be bought

the previous renters will have to have had a cable installed for that. they probably wont take that with them, just the set top box. it should be sticking out of the wall near where they had their tv.

the firmware is for the fta box, not your computer. the box likely does have some way to hook it up to a computer for that purpose. i havent really looked at one up close though.

o my bad, well anyways i saw a dish FTA box today cause my parents used to have satellite and now they just have the FTA boxs sitting in the garage and dont want them. i saw that you can plug them into a comuter using an ethernet style cord (the ones that go into phone jacks and internet hookups), but if i used it would the pin number of it still come up under my parents names cause they bought it from the company?

Th0r

Can you not change the PIN so it is not under your parents name?

In the UK you can, I have no idea how.

Hello Everyone,

I know like to know where i can find the firmware downloads for the Bell ExpressVu 6141 High Definition Satellite Receiver, so I can receive a free satellite signal. I'm new at this, so if there is any other information i should know (i.e. where to find the firmware...any other type of download i may need...etc.) It would be greatly appreciated if someone could answer my question.

I was reading an article about how DirecTV found out who was pirating their signal by confiscating the customer records of the dealers who manufactured the cards that decrypted the Directv signal.

This wouldn't be a problem if you just bought a FTA box though right? The box itself is legal, it's when you patch it with hacked firmware is when you're breaking the law.

Still would it be too paranoid to ask a vendor to send you all of the equipment(sat box, dish, etc) to a PO Box instead of your home address? It might offer an extra level of protection if they ever got shut down and had all their documents confiscated.

ok guys i have read the info here and at several other sites.
i have a couple of questions
i have decided on the coolsat 6100 private. is this one of the better receivers?
i choose it because of price, iusb port and i found lots of files for it
can i just use the dish network satelite i already have. i have service and it is current, i just am getting tired of paying for the receivers and remote charges.
also there was a mention of more than one fta sat will i need separate dishes for each sat or is it kinda pointless and just repeating the same channels basically?
thanks
