The movie was great. The same people who made this movie also made Knocked Up.
Overall, both movies made me laugh. Superbad made me laugh harder, but Knocked Up made me laugh almost as hard, but more frequently. Superbad had a slow part in the middle.
For comedy lovers, I highly recommend these two films. They're both better than Borat.

Haven't seen (or heard of) Superboy. Doesn't sound like my kind of film. Stuff like Knocked Up strike me as stupid humour. It's fine on a night when you're too drunk to follow anything better, but that's about it.

Most comedies are stupid. In fact, I'll go out on a limb and call them all stupid, but that's why they're funny! It's more of a society thing. Since they're both American films, the humor might not go over so well across the pond.

Superbad was actually a fantastic movie, I didn't laugh from start to finish. It's a completely vulgar comedy in the ranks of movies like American pie, but with a difference. I hate movies like that, they're just so crude. But Superbad added depth and meaning to it, and just made it worth while. Hilarious, yet it had great character development, and perfect relationships.
