homemade weapons?

im looken for melee weapons i can make from Household Items.

i got a budget of 20 bucks and i need some stuff thatll help me and 1 other dude fight off possibly 5-8 people.

my house is full of stuff so if you name it i prolly have it.

does anyone have some advice?

question is how serious are these guys and how much damage do you want to inflict, how close are the quarters of combat, how illegal do you wqant to make this, is the possibilty of death some thing you are ok with ect.

imagine you're in prison, and you want to get someone back. roll a newspaper as tightly as you can, it makes a decent bat.

Yeah, there are way too many options for this. If I were fighting off 5-8 people, I wouldn't be looking to melee. I'd look more into grabbing some bleach and dollar store squirt guns. I found tiny ones today like 10 (party favors) for a buck. Drop 1 or 2 in your pocket, and squirt that shit in their eyes. They won't be going after you any time soon after that. However, if you're going for melee, you could use anything from sharpened credit cards, or sharpened CD-R's to any random piece of rigid metal/wood you can find.

Mace- 1/4 iodene
1/4 salt (or just 1/2 iodized salt)
1/2 Alcohol
Use a chain or something as a knuckle duster

A knuckle duster ain't going to do shit against more than one person, nevermind five. You best option is to frighten them so that no one will have the balls to be the first person to attack you. I'd use a knife. No one is going to be the first guy to jump someone with a knife.
