Hi. Sorry if this is newbie question. However if someone were to use an IP Blocker, could activity still be traced back to them? Thanks in advance.

I thought IP blocking was to prevent IP ranges from connecting to a network or computer. Are you talking about hiding the IP? Everything is traceable, but there are levels of skill required for some things.

The only thing I dislike about proxy servers is how it lags my internet...

I use Tor sometimes, but any onion router scheme is dreadfully slow. :sad2:

It lags cuz the info is begin pulled though someone else's computer so if you had a prxy on your next dorr neighbor with t3 it be fast.

Well, onion routing is slow because you're going through many computers all over the world. If you had a neighbor with a fat pipe and you setup a proxy on his system, it would be fast. But it also wouldn't take The Man long to find you. :cop:

Instead of the next door neighbour couldnt you run it on a computer on your home network?

The point of a proxy is to hide your IP, having one on your home network would be pointless.
