You know from all the hype and excitement......
What do you think?

That's all, it's just hype. People are stupid to spend so much for a fucking phone just to be cool. Okay, so whose life is really that fucking important that they need such a phone. I mean, really...

Aslong as i can take good photos/videos, call people, answer calls, send and recive txts, calculate,mp3 ringtones, Timer and Snake 2. I'll be happy, kind of the same way i want my car to go forwards, backwards, a to b and sideways.

I think it is pretty cool, I saw one in Germany and you could do some serious nice things with it and I like the idea of having all the possibilities at my fingertips however I could not afford one...

iPhone SUCKS!
This (http://www.htc.com/product/03-product_tytn_II.htm) is far better, and will be released for Vodafone in Ireland in the run up to christmas. I'll be able to get it half price too :)

Blackberry sucks too. Expensive for what it does compared to cheaper phones such as the Nokia business range.

Remember that this spreading portability mania is far from harmless. Case in point: Just a couple weeks ago a friend had to undergo microsurgery on his hand due to inflammation of a nerve in his finger which could've otherwise progressed to full blown carpal tunnel. They had to carve open his hand zig-zag style. Upon the strong recommendation of his doctors, he's now selling his ipod touch (the iphone without the actual phone part) and other portable miscellanea and exploring voice recognition options.

Nonetheless, if your (as of yet) fully-functioning fingers still have a persistent craving to fondle something and the local cock shop is closed, check out the OpenMoko-based (http://www.openmoko.com/) Neo1973 (http://www.openmoko.com/products-index.html) to sooth your gadgetry fetish. It's open source, works with any GSM operator, is almost half the price of the iphone, and comes with tools to help you open up the phone and start tinkering. Here's (http://www.wired.com/gadgets/wireless/news/2007/10/openmoko_firstlook?currentPage=all) a more in-depth review.

That is bad... Very bad...
But yea, that Neo 1973 looks pretty cool...
I saw a phone that looked really similar...

As with all things in life, the Free/Open Source solution pwns all contenders. Leetly. I personally despise Apple and everything they do. I think they get a lot of credit for crappy stuff that gets held up against MicroSuck in apples vs oranges situations, when their own products are usually only marginally better, and even then only because of circumstance. The iPod blows. Teh MicroCrap Zune actually looks a bit better, but any proprietary firmware must go.

Who says your phone should be able to receive or make calls while in a car or train, or in certain parts of you kitchen?
