Sup everyone, haven't been here in about 2 years.. I was on the weirdpier forums awhile back as well. Anyway, was wonderinf if anyone here has heard of Ron Paul?

He is a true republican.. Limit the size of federal government...get out of iraq as soon as possible, non interventionalist policy (trade with countries and diplomacy, but stay out of their internal affairs : like installing puppet governments in pakistan etc)

He's the only guy running that talks about the dollar crisis. About how the federal reserve basically prints money whenever the fuck it wants, and how it isnt backed by anything anymore.

he wants to do away with things like the I.R.S. the dept of energy, dept of education. Some people think this means he's against energy and education. Wrong. He just wants the federal government to stop controlling them. Look at our school system right now. It's a piece of shit.

Basically a free market pro civil liberties type guy. Been saying the same thing for 30 years. His positions never change.

Hes pro life..but again, he wants YOU to decide what you want in YOUR state, so it doesnt matter what he thinks..

Well, let me know what you guys think.

**edit:

Another thing, you probably never heard of him because the MSM never gives him any air time. Fox news is also excluding him from their forum to serve their right wing neocon agenda

I respect this guy allot and feel this is how politicians should be, Due to the media blackout he probably won't get in and if he does he will probably go the way of Kennedy.

I like Ron Paul. I like his policies and his ideas.
Its a shame he'll probably never be president. Democracy eh? Should be giving all presidential canidates their fair ammount of time.

He is actually quite popular but as his policies etc, conflict with the general media in America, he isnt getting what the other canidates are getting.

If I was in America, and he was chosen to stand I would vote for him.

he will probably go the way of Kennedy.
What exactly do you mean?

I mean that if by some fluke he got in due to his policy's on things like the CIA where he has publicly stated they have to be pulled in and put on a tighter reign he will probably eat a bullet.

He would become president if the media gave him any air time. It's all Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. Give the other candidates airtime damnit.

They are suppose to give equal airtime but we know how that is. All the pro this person or that person that the station doesn't like is on either when everyone is at work, school or asleep. Equal airtime my ass.
