I would think that the easiest way of taking over the world would be to buy your way into politics and kill anyone in your way. Does anyone have any ideas as to how it could be done?

Recruit five hundred of the worlds toughest mercenaries buy thousands of weapons and rounds of ammunition as well as various armour. Then purchase numerous planes [Several cargo planes obviously for weapons and mercenaries and smaller planes]. Then land in one of the Southern states of the USA. From then hijack coaches and drive to Washington DC. From there on take over the worlds most powerful country.

Do the same to various other powerful countries [Russia and the United Kingdom]. From then on use the over taken countries armies to take over other countries. Not saying this would be easy. Because it would not be. Someone would probably stop you in your tracks.

And if you succeeded in taking over America [Very unlikely for obvious reasons] there would be a lot of people wanting to take you down.

If anyone is paying particular attention to Channel 4 [in the United Kingdoms] news recently you would know they are doing a lot of features on Simon Mann, the mercenary who tried to take over Equatorial Guinea. The biggest joke is they didn't even get as far as Guinea. They got to Zimbabwe where they were arrested.

So although it might seem easy in theory there are a hell of a lot of complications involved. And even a bunch of highly trained mercenaries lead by ex-members of the SAS couldn't even take over a tiny country like Equatorial Guinea...

Plus you would probably need a backing country as I doubt most mercenaries could get their hands on the amount of money needed to run an operation like that. Plus the amount of weapons needed would be phenomenal and unless it is a country buying that much weapons it would raise eye brows.

You could of course do a James Bond and ignite a nuclear war that means Russia and the USA both wipe each other out paving the way for a third party to seize control of both countries.

Its just if I was going to take over the world that's the way I would do it.

Resources would come from a backing country and enemy of the countries you are attacking. Iran maybe?

The amount of money needed would be huge and would need to come from more than one resource. The Federal government said several years ago that they believe mass credit card fraud could be linked to terrorist groups like al-Qaeda...

i'd knock over some third world shithole with great untapped mineral resources. then i would cure all tropical diseases and develop my country's infrastructure. then i would invent my own religion. one that everyone would believe in, then i'd use my newfound influence to have all politicians hand over their power to me.

seriously, to control people you have to either control their bodies or control their minds. if you only control their bodies, the second you relax your guard, they will be at your throat. mercs ruling an african country are just a bunch of armed foreigners. as soon as they turn their backs, everyone stops obeying them and starts reaching for the cutlery.

if you control their minds by making them believe some bullshit story about why your group of goons has a RIGHT to rule that country, things are different. you can base it on a number of different things. religion is a big one, tribal affiliation is another, the "rights of man and democratic institutions" works pretty well too as does that "we are the revolutionary vanguard of the proletariat" line that damn near half the world swallowed up until about twenty years ago.

like i said, invent your own religion that everyone will believe in. you can hijack another one if its easier for you. it doesnt even have to have anything to do with God etc. call it a conceptual framework if that term gives you less trouble. see above.

I beleive that the West controls the world through manipulation of the 3rd World to take their resources and that they uphold this control with Military Superiority and corrupting or installing the rulers of the country themselves. Think of it as a 21st Century for of Colonialism,

The Americans control the seas and have more then a hundred military bases around the world aswell they have a long history of intervening in Latin America and the Middle East to protect the interests of Corporations. The blood, Sweat and suffering of the 3rd world nations makes the American Way of life possible. Any attempts to rebel against the Status Quo is labeled as Terrorism and Extremism.

First start by manipulating a poor 3rd world BackWater, Look at UFCO they were a fruit company which virtually controlled Guatmela at one point and the government served their interests, a Democratic Government put the power to the people and the American Based UFCO lobbied washington and engaged in Propaganda to conceive the dum as hell americans that Guatmela was a Soviet Sattelite. Et voila the American Government intervened in Guatemala and the democracy was overturned infavour of a government that supported the corporate interests of the UFCO.

Thats the magic formula i guess for world dominations, obviously you gotta start out small with a small powerless country like Guatmela but then you can branch out and build your empire.

I don't think its a practicle idea. It seems impossible to gain complete control over one person; I laugh almost to the point of complete exhaustion at the thought of being able to control 6+ billion of them.......all at once!
