anyone know how to mod any consoles. SWIM has a modded xbox and it has worked great for me for years. and does anyone know if its possible to mod xbox 360's or PS3's cause it seems like SWIM could invest a few hours into researching how to mod and make bank on selling modded consoles to pretty much everyone

Apparently the PlayStations fuck up after a few months within modding. The PS2 did anyway.

It depends what type of modding NoX. I have never heard anything bad about the chips that trick the system into thinking you are playing a legit game when you actually playing a rip off copy...

The mod i am referring to is the one that allows you to play burnt games in a ps2 but there was a certain tuning on and off procedure to follow.

in SWIMS xbox he has a mod chip and switch. the chip is obviously for allowing the upgraded hard drive to burn games and the switch is to switch the mod off to allow SWIM to play xbox live. for some reason though the switch when turned off causes the xbox to not turn on and the person that modded it moved far away. do you know how SWIM could fix this

Why are you still talking about SWIM? It's not S&C.

It's all part of the new Anti Anti Copyright movement...

Fuck them, you're not producing the chips. There are mods for PS3, maybe even 360, but last I heard the Wii is still uncracked (and probably will be for a long time).

I know there's a modchip out there for the Wii which lets you play "backed up" games.
I think early models of the Xbox 360 could have their firmware flashed with a cracked one which added the ability to play copies.

I've heard nothing about the PS3. I'm guessing this'll be the hardest to crack and Sony release fairly regular firmware updates which'll patch any exploitable holes found in its firmware. Having said that, the PSP works in the same kind of way with regular firmware updates and there's cracked firmware widely available for both the old and new PSPs..

First generation PS3 was hackable.

ps3 will always be hackable so long as you are a good hacker and know the lines of code and how they work...in other words not me. psp is quite easy to hack espesially if you have one of the older models (the big ones aka psp1000) custom firmwares is easy to put on and you can play any playstation 1 game on psp instead of the ones you need a ps3 to download.another thing u can do is make your own programs for it like emulators that let u emulate other game systems . you will see this alot on youtube. super nintendo emulators are the best and nintendo 64 ones suck donkey and are hard to come by. but if you got certain custom firwares or version 1.50 firmware you need nothing to play playstation 1 games but the speacial programs to play em with. problems is most custom firmware has drawbacks.i never did the custom firmware thing because they can fuck up ur psp badly if you do the wrong thing or mess up with the instalation so i never did it cuz i dont have a spare psp to waste.
