airsoft gun

if im walking down the street with an airsoft gun. pistol. in my pocket and a cop stops me can i get in trouble? the gun has the orange tip off and looks pretty real

1. ) keep it hidden and completely out of site, that way if it is illegal in your state to own one, you avoid trouble because whats not seen never existed.
2. ) if a cop happens to search you and finds the gun on you, he may let you off with a warning, maybe a ticket, or may just confiscate your gun. it really depends on the officer and the laws of where ever you live at. im from illinois and i know paintball guns/airsoft guns are illegal
3. ) do NOT pull the gun out fast to show the cop you have it, and never point it at a cop. this is how kids get shot because its impossible for a policeman to tell if a gun is real or not at a distance and im sure he would rather not take his chances which means you may have a really shitty day...

although paintball/airsoft guns are illegal in my state, i believe someone told me that you can have one, as long as it is out of sight. im not sure about this, and i wouldnt trust it. do a quick search on google for laws reguarding it.

alright. thats what i was mainly afraid of though, the whole pulling it out. i mean i know i wouldnt and in reality a cop would have no reason to stop to even question me as im walking down the street. but still just scary though. at first i had the gun in my belt just to look cool. but i realized that could be a very very stupid idea. so i put it all the way in my pocket. i was just scared if a cop did stop for whatever reason and did start questioning me what i would do about the fake gun in my pocket. theres no way i would pull it out cause im not that dumb.

by the way. walking down the street with even a fake gun made me feel so much more powerful. like.. a car would drive past me and id just think 'dang, you dont know what im packin foo'. makes me wonder what itd feel like to walk down the street with a real gun (which i probally wont ever do cause im a pussy)

my bud just got out of jail a few days ago. He had an illegal gun. And due to our fucked up laws. an imitation of an illegal gun can be just as bad as having the real gun

remember the robbery i was thinking about of my girlfriends old store? well part of the way i have to walk and if i wanted to bring the airsoft gun i was worried about the walk id have to take.
