I was thinking about having fun and setting of dozens of huge smoke bombs on a street that doesnt get much wind. im thinking the usual stump remover and sugar ones

what would be the best way to do this?

I want to buy the parts in bulk (to save money)

That is an interesting concept, to say the least...

Crazy White Guy, have you ever played around with these KN03/Sugar smoke devices?

I do not think there is any way/point of detonating them remotely. If it were me I would have me and some friends light them up, say 6 people with two smoke "bombs" to light...

remote fuses could be accomplished. but that doesnt make any sense because im sure you want to watch the smoke bombs. just find yourself a roll of cannon fuse. cut it into lengths around 4 inches and stick it in the mixture while its still malleable

for my idea the bombs would be placed on either side of a street for about 100meters

I was thinking of having a cell receiver/detector that would pickup my call and relay it over RF to a bunch od servo's that would push sodium pellets into a water bag surrounded by quickburning fuse

but it has too many shitty variables

What about time delay fuse??

Might be frowned upon but my only suggestion is a cigarette.

the cigarette is a good idea if you dont want it to be precise or care if its reliable

something like arson

but i want something more... yeah...
something

actually a relatively reliable time-able fuse delay is an incense stick. all you have to do is get some that are about the same size and burn one to get the timing down. then cut to length and attatch to fuse

A cigarette would be good.

Could it not blow out to early...?

You would have to be fast however seeing as it is over a 100 metre space. What are you doing this for? Just a school boy prank or is this part of some kind of scam?

When I made these devices I confined them to a tin can [I used a Cat food tin] and wrapped the mixture up in tissue paper. I put several home made fuses into the mixture [Learnt that courtesy of United Nuclear]. It took approximately 30 seconds for the heavy smoke to get under way. We sped up the process by spraying a deodorant onto the tissue...

Have you actually made the mixture Crazy White Guy?

If not, I can give you some helpful advise on it...

ive made the mix before

it didnt turn out the best but did surprisingly well for the quality of material

i was thinking that someone could use a smokescreen as cover to escape police

then when you are out of the barricade, force them to stop chasing you (due to civilian risk)

You are best going for professoional devices...

The ones produced for paintball games and the like.

There's a plus. If it doesnt work and you get busted you can get a refund.

Uh..I don't think it's a good idea for cop-cover but I'll offer what knowledge I have. I personally don't see why no one has mentioned electric match visco, it's highly reliable and should work rather well in this function.

For carrying the mixture I would suggest the large orange home-depot buckets, just stick a long piece of visco in it, with the wireless electric match system on it..should do the trick. However this method is going to cost you quite a bit of money..

five gallon plastic bucket sized smoke device = lots of angry cops = looking over your shoulder all the time = no fun

its really funny to think about though. i wouldnt bother buying buckets of that sort new whatever you would be using them for. many types of restaurant supplies come in them. pickles, donut fillings, etc. look around, ask friends who work in fast food joints, etc. they make good improvised toilets, planters, free weights, all sorts of things. they even make good buckets.

However this method is going to cost you quite a bit of money..

as in all situations where the cost issue is a factor, it pays to sit down and ask yourself a few questions.

what exactly am i trying to accomplish here? does the object in question solve the problem in a satisfactory manner? if so, how exactly does it work? how do its individual parts work? have we seen parts that work in the same way elsewhere for less money? can these various parts be purchased and brought together to do the same job for less money? is the time required to do this low enough that it is worth the investment?

i am unfamiliar with the system named. if it is what i think it is, something like it can probably be slapped together for about twenty bucks from items obtained at the auto parts place and the toy store. the range would be short and there would be the problem of stray signals from similar devices nearby, but it would work. solving the above problems would require more money and more expertise, but can be done, and done in a way that would both be educational and not apt to raise suspicions.

He never really mentioned that cost was an option.

About carrying the buckets, I would assume he has a vehicle, if not I apologize.

The thing about the electric match system is that it can be used over and over and over. It's always useful in this hobby, it is VERY reliable. Yes, it can be nigger-rigged (excuse the language) but at ~$120 it's not too bad for a cheap one, for something that can be applied SO much.

And yes those buckets can be found in a multitude of places be inventive.

I set of a 'device' like this a few weeks ago in woodland. Compared to the professional Smoke Grenades used in Paintball Games, the smoke is hardly anything. It certainly won't give you effective 'Cop Cover' if you are in a small apartment or something similar...

But regarding 'Paintball Smoke Grenades' I have no idea of their legality in the Republic Of Snow.
