So right now I am waiting to be approved by yet another gun club, this time one that specialises in Small Bore rifles... This will work well with my next purchases.

In the mean time I have been working on a small [improvised I guess is the word] rifle range solely for air rifles and air pistols...

Why you ask?

Because these are the only ones I am allowed to fire on my property because of various government "Enforced" [They aren't really, they just want to please gun grabbers everywhere. Shock. Horror.] rules...

Also it will take a good month or so to process my darn request to join this club because they need to Criminal Records Check several people. You might think they would be fast about it, but no....

Any how, I will end the brief rant here.

I wanted to share with you my ideas for a home made, improvised, whatever you want to call it, rifle range...

It is about 15-20ft long and sloped slightly to a small degree with part of it on a small crappy patio the rest being the long remains of our former allotment...

So today I started work, moving a chair and table up to the patio. The purpose of that was so I have a place to put my pellets, a place to put other things and just a place to sit down...

Then I nailed various paper targets into the tree and set out various other targets, I also figured that standing up at an elevated point increases my accuracy.

A rather short account of "building" a rifle range, I am interested in other peoples ideas, comments?

Has anyone done something similar to this?
