So anyways, I wanted to make some lemony tea, so I added lemon extract...forgot it had 80% alcohol in it. Needless to say I was surprised, but didn't want to waste a whole pitcher of tea..
The tea was cold, so I added splenda (because it will actually dissolve in cold liquids well..) to kind of counter-balance the lemon flavor.
Anyways it tastes like mikes hard lemonade but much much better.
The best ratio is about 1 part lemon extract to 8 parts tea, something along those lines. Teaspoon of splenda per one and a half cups or so.
It's not really strong, but it's tasty and I think it's stronger than beer / mike's hard..the amount of lemon extract and splenda can be increased (kinda cancel each other) but after awhile it gets WAY too sweet.
(sorry about the grammar, I was wasted at the time of writing this)
Anyways, for those of you who are underaged, you'll love it : ).

I have a recipe for a strange tasting non-alcoholic soft drink.
Only use it when i have none.
Pour your favorite STRAIGHT cordial into a cup like normal(bout a inch)
pour lemonade/soda water into it and leaving a inch at the top.
fill the rest up with water.
Pub squash can be made by replacing the cordial with lemon juice.

Would all these kind of extracts have 80% alcohol?
I have almond extract and vanilla extract,
Would these still be good to use?
Wouldnt need the sugar for them....

If you've got a package run them through Google to check if they do.
The Vanilla extract I use contains little alcohol, and I can't say for yours.

Most extracts have ~40% or so...vanilla typically has 20-30% so it's pretty weak..the strongest is mint/peppermint at like 98%

Ugh that sounds horrid...
I once used it for a morning glory seed mixture because I didn't have any everclear, worst fucking idea I've ever had.
I almost couldn't finish my cup, only time I've ever thrown up on the seeds..

Just thought I would tell you that i tried the almond and vanilla extract.
I would give the almond extract about 3 out of 10.
I would give the vanilla extract about 7 out of 10.
Good for underage people or people who want a cheap drink.....
