I don't know about you, but I use the site http://www.budk.com/ for my knife and sword requirements. They aren't of the superior handcrafted quality, but they're pretty damn good, and hold a fine edge. Great selection of medieval, fantasy, historic, and modern/futuristic folders, butterflies, daggers, swords, etc.

I have a collection of antique knives I might be getting rid of soon, lotta bayonets from ww1/2/vietnam , have a original hitler youth kinfe and some of the stuff Ive had friends hand make me (way cool swords and daggers) . Ill let you know when I get an inventory if you want.

Hmm, when you get an idea of inventory, put some pics and prices up, I'm always on the look-out for unique knives and swords. Especially anything medieval/ancient European-model, I'm always willing to buy gear for Renaissance Faire. :)

Yeah, that's my interest. Medieval, European, or classic Japanese. All depends on design, length, weight, and durability/sharpness.

If it's high-carbon, I'm interested. Stainless steel's okay for its anti-corrosion quality, but it doesn't hold as fine of an edge, it's harder to sharpen, and it's a bit more brittle.

I dunno, I can probably shell out a few hundred for some decent stuff right now.
