how to make atm card catchers?

its just another variation of the lebanese loop...any one had any experience in this field....ideas?
swim would be willing to try this for educational purposes but needs a few starter points ie when can i get device/thing that can jam the card reader while i look over shoulder for pin?

get some thin spring steel and make one for yourself

from the video it looks like it could be made from a simple 1inch sheet os thin steel bent so that the card wouldn't touch the rollers. at the mouth the metal would be bent into a T shape so that you could mount a face plate one it. This seems to be the ghetto version of the toy they used in the show. I could explain it in more detail if you didnt understand the first time. Just ask =)

i dont get how they would the card would suck in, cause its just thin metal and theres not enough room to put a battery powered reel on it. the card would just sit slide in and sit there which anyone whos used an atm machine before would know somethings up. also how would he get the guys pin. if the card is just sitting in a metal box then the atm machine would proceed to the step where you put you pin number in cause it wouldn even know something was in there ,at best, most likely there would be an error message on the screen and the victim wouldnt even use it

the people making the catcher thing would analyze the security features first. like if lasers were used, a clear catcher would be used that wouldn't interrupt the laser. when the card went in it would interrupt the laser and go to the next step in the process. The design just has to be developed to suit your needs.
