can somebody show me the BEST lockpicking book / videos?
I really want to learn how to pick locks, but there are millions of books and videos on the internet that I don't know which I should trust.
So can somebody post a link or at least a title of a book/guide/videos to help me get started?

easy and fast ways.
-shotgun with large heavy slug
-pouch of thermite
-shaped charge
-bump key
-sledge hammer
-a 3mm credit card sized piece of hardened steel and a hammer (i can elaborate a bit more if needed)
- a set of picks and time
-a saw
most of those are loud but all of them work very well

Avoid Totse's Lock Picking guides; At all costs!
-shotgun with large heavy slug
It's not quite as simple as blowing the hinges off. And shaped charges and Thermite?
Raiden, the best Lock books cost. You are best to check out You Tube videos for the time.

...Dead on CWG.
And the thing is 80% of front doors in the United Kingdom are like that!

i'd say thats true for canada too. 80% of doors could be opened as easily as that. and another 15 would only need s hot to the bolt and a gentle nudge.

I'll post the story tomorrow about me and my fathers 'adventure' trying to get into a room that was locked with a basic bolt that could be drilled out. The killer thing was my cat was stuck in the room...
Right now I have to crash...

You can make the Bump keys.

Firstly you can't delete your own post since you don't have moderator privileges and secondly if you don't get a result due to an error with what you were searching try typing this into Google...
site:rorta.net UK Bumpkeys
I don't know if you know that little trick or not but it's a useful way of getting around the vBulletin Search Engine restrictions.

As the above posts state, there are thousands of books and videos out there.
However, for me, I found them quite useless. I had to have someone visually teach me, in front of me, I couldn't just read a book and try it.
If your stupid and don't have the brain capacity to translate what you read in a book to real life(much like me), befriend a locksmith. I've always found they're generally nice guys and willing to teach you their trade...eventually.

It all boils down to whether you are a Visual, Audio, or Kinesthetic learner and what sub category you fit into within those three.
