that someone wanted to do a simple ebay scam where he would put an item up for sale and just not send it. what would this guy need to do to make sure there was no way that the feds or vigilant buyer would be able to find out any information on him? also what item should this put up for sale? something under 500 but over 100. -thanks

you have to make a ebay account that you are willing to ditch with fake info. Sell five things of varying value whoes auctions end at the same time. ship empty boxes to the locations without any postage on them. When you get your money put it somewhere safe. When your buyers complain about not getting the package, tell them they returned it to you and that they will get in it X amount of days. ditch the account. enjoy your 500$-2000$

yes
ebay can take your money without asking. you sign away your right to your money when you make a paypal account. To keep your money you have to put it in a bank account. i would suggest western union and a stall time to keep buyers from filing a report until your transfer was untracable(15 days with western union) ebay owns paypal

ya but then they would know who you are from your bank account...unless you used fake information on the bank account to which would require a lot of hard to get personal information, which if you have access to someones personal information theres a lot bigger scams to be pulling off

no bank account. a credit card on your paypal will give you a 2000$ limit

o so SWIM could get a prepaid card and then transfer the paypal money directly to the card and then just cash out on the card at an atm?

No. Just... No.
People have been trying to find out ways to cash out fraudulent Paypals for years. It's just not worth it.

Not to be the voice of ethics here, but if you do it right under $500, Pay$hit usually picks up the tab. Anything over that and the individual buying the item has to pay the difference. My friend got scammed $700 out of a laptop a while back but only had to pay $200 because of Paypal buyer protection. We theorized that the scammer used someone else's banking details, because the name and address did actually exist after we did some research. I don't know...seems like a lot of work just for a few hundred bucks.

Transferring the money to a pre-paid card wouldn't work. Money can only be spent from the cards not loaded.

not true. If you buy a card with e-gold, you have a non-re loadable card. If you have a registered card then you can reload.

If it's registered wouldn't that defeat the purpose?

nope. Fake info would be used to get the card.

I would think it is not allowed and very complicated.
Though I am sure copies of Photoshop that actually work would sell very well, as the price of a programme like Photoshop is rather expensive.

I wanna try to sell the entire cs3 master collection "compacted onto one disc" with a starting bid of 500. It is over 2000 new. Would I have to use a drop zone as to assure I don't get caught.

I would use a drop zone, as I have the feeling Adobe might try to lynch you.
