So, anyone know if there has ever been a study or something about how much more this stuff fucks you up then anything else? I normally even drunk don't give into my urges this bad, but drinking this shit I REALLY get bad.
This is the same with my friends, a night with a coupla bottles of soco is always crazier than a night with anything else, in a bad way.
Anyways, anyone had similar experience with it?

i havent, but the same thing happens with tequila. I think its because its a smooth drink and you dont think you are drinking as much as you really are.

I work in a liquor store, and its a requirement for anyone living here who works in a bar/liquor store to take a course on liquor (how to handle drunk people, how being drunk works, etc.).
Basically, getting more drunk from one kind of liquor than another of equal potency is nothing but a placebo effect. People get really drunk from it one day from not eating a lot, drinking it fast, a number of other things. Then, after that, you just kind of tell yourself it does that to you and it works out just the same. same thing that happens to all the girls who drink a quarter of a beer and look like they just did a keg stand. At least, this is what the handbook tells me. I have trouble believing it. Specifically after drinking any buck-a-beer.

ya southern comfort tastes so dank you can easily drink a lot of it and dont have to waste stomach space on chasers. it tastes great but i dont like the sick feeling you get from all the sugar.

Ah now that I ponder it that's probably it, a sugar high and drunkenness..
I think you lose the ability to suppress a sugar high so you basically revert to being a 5-6 year old who just drank a bunch of coca-cola..except you're drunk. Like that control is inherent within you normally, but the alcohol erodes it.
That seem plausible?

the sugar hasnt got much to do with it. if that were the case all the girls who drink cosmos and dudes who drink jack and cokes would be the same way. like jagerbombs. all the sugar in the redbull and the jager is more than a shot of soco.
there is also the fact that soco comes in two different proofs. 100 and 70. i always used the 100 for mixing and the 70 for shots. just seemed better that way.

I believe that... Just one drink is an excuse for all your actions for the night.
