its possible. Theres everything you need inside the fountain fireworks. You simply take out the pyro mix and separate out the parts you dont want like effects, dampeners and the un-burnable materials you will undoubtable get during the extraction of the powders. When you have the powder you can use that as the main charge for whatever you plan to do.

If your interested in pyrotechnics i would suggest buying or finding all of the chemicals you want from suppliers and making it yourself. A large percentage of the things you would use to make fireworks can be bought at under 20$/lb. if you would want to get a 500g pile, you would have to butcher a few hundred fountains.

Also sorry to be a bitch but punctuation and capitalization are good. Having a decent sized body to your post will also give us more to work with when answering your questions.

Quote from the actual site it was taken from (not Bombshock):

This person was using black powder to assist in lighting a "Sparkler Fountain" on the 4th of July. What he did not know was that the fountain was smouldering. When the black powder exploded, it drove the container into his knee. The black cloth is where it drove his pants into his knee. He received several burns in addition to this injury.

now i didnt do that shit, i mixed the chemicals from a bunch of different fountains to see the reactions, trying to get an already hot fountain going with black powder is completely fucking stupid

generally all that is in a fountain is black powder, and maybe some stars here and there. i would say if you're going to butcher some fireworks to make explosives get a few cakes. all they are is a large number of fountains in one convenient package, cheap too.

If you're in Michigan, you're rather fucked. Michigan is all safe and sane and nothing is allowed to go over 6 feet in the air. You'd likely have to go out of state to buy somehting like that.

Torcher, a cake is also a "multi aerial". fountains don't usually do anything more than shoot sparks and such up to about 6 feet. cakes have reloadable shell ("morter") like things in em. CMON MAN YOU KNOW THAT!! FUCK HOW MANY HAVE WE LIT OFF?!

BTW, as a point of interest, they usually are from 16 to 36 shots and have a price range starting at about $8 and going up to about $90. The one you had the picture of looks like it might be a 24 shot cake that's about 1 foot wide and about that long. At Phantom that would go for around $50. There are also large multi tube fountains buy they're just called big ass fountains. They're only cheap when I buy em cause I get a 60% discount lol
