I want to print some directions, but the background is dark, and the letters white. This wastes a lot of ink. Is there some way to reverse this?

How is this a scam or a crime?

If you're using Windows, open the image in Paint (found on Start Menu -> Programs -> Accessories -> Paint)

Then click on the "Image" menu at the top and select "Invert Colours".

This will change the black background to white and the white text to black making it much lighter on the printer ink :ahso:

you could also load it into gimp, take the letter color and isolate all of that color. Paste that onto a new letter size then print. It would use less ink than inverting the colors though that was my first thought.

smart thinking, printing anything off this forum would use a lot of ink.... then again, use someone elses printer

He said he was printing directions.

I think he meant directions on a scam from here in the forums. Not sure though.

If that is the case though just go here http://forum.rorta.net/archive/index.php and find the thread you're looking for. The archive forums have a white background and black text so that would work out a lot better for you.
