I can never decide what to eat in the mornings and i now have the time to make anything i want. Lets all post our favorite recipes. Heres my contributions
My Favorite Breakfast Wrap
In a small frying pan melt enough butter to just cover the bottom. Chop in small chunks of polish sausage in and cover it. While thats cooking a bit you will break two eggs into a bowl and add grated cheese until there 2:1 eggs/cheese. pour that on top of the meat and mix until cooked to however you prefer. At that point you load it all into a tortilla or similar wrap tightly and enjoy.
Some great little things to add are onions, finely minced garlic and green onions.
Awesome Omelette
Chop all of these to however you like them: green and white onions, tomatoes, chicken (finely cut), green and red peppers and a single clove of garlic. Great some cheese too, cheddar is best but mozzarella is good too. Heat a pan and melt butter into it. Put in your meat, when that looks like its starting to cook put in the onions and peppers. When this is almost cooked to perfection, put in the eggs and wait for a few seconds before you put the cheese in. When its just starting to cook put the tomatoes in. This should be watched for the whole time its in the pan. It should take only a few minutes to cook. I allways cook at just under medium heat, that gives a greasy omlette. Cooking at a bit above medium gives a less greasy omlette.

CWG, I don't eat Omelettes. Quite frankly I find the smell of Eggs in General disgusting, however Omelettes take the Cake!
We have a different taste when it comes to food. I much prefer the Docta's 'Filler'.

Its not only eggs that make good breakfast foods. My friend made this weird breakfast wrap out of refried beans, chopped peppers, a lot of onions and some weird taste that I couldn't recognize. I don't know if you would call it a burrito but it was good and i should one day ask how it was made.

I'm too lazy to cook in the morning but I've been living on porridge for breakfast since I moved out, with either chopped strawberries (which are a bit of a luxury when you're living on your own) or honey mixed in. Gorgeous. You have to boil it with milk though. Microwaved porridge ain't shit.

-flour
-Bob evans maple sausage
-buscuits of some sort (preferably pilsbury)

- sub step: turn your oven on to about 450 degrees and put your biscuits in the oven and allow them to cook in their to the time specified on the outside of the biscuit package
-fifth step: put flour into the pot, depeneding on how thick you want the gravy to be more flour for thicker and less for thinner, but take into account the amount of milk put in as to figure out what degree the gravy will be
-sixth step: allow the gravy to cook to how ever thick you want the gravy to turn out to be
-seventh step: turn off the heat and serve the gravy on top of the biscuits and enjoy!

yes i did say put the stove on 4 or 5, this would be a medium temperature, i dont recall saying put the oven on 6, i said to heat it to 400 or 450 in that i am mistaken it is 350 degrees, but are you saying that the oven you have doesnt allow you to set it to a spedific degree, it only has numbers??

Most northamerican stovetop burners have a heat dial that read 1 2 3 4 ... 9. nine being the highest and one being the lowest.
Ovens are 125 - 450
this is kinda common knowledge but in europe and the UK it might be different.

some stoves say Low Medium and High
and in the case of the buscuits and gravy for those of us who have a stove that have LMH, 4-5 = just above medium.
and for the scrapple the oven temperature should be set to 350 degrees fahrenheit

I sleep until 1 normally in the summer. Thats why.
Normally during school time i get up and do whatever I have to do before cooking food. This gives me enough time to wakeup and sip coffee before eating. I cant wake up and eat normally. Another great break feast food is 1/4 cup cottage cheese and 1/4 yogurt of any kinda with finely chopped fruit in it. Fucking yum. I have no problem with eating this as soon as i get out of bed. If i know I'm going to be waking up too early to cook i make a bowl of this the day before and leave it out to warm up ten minutes before eating. Its good cold but harder to eat.

i found this recipe while stumbling and it sounds amazing, the pictures will make your mouth water.
Hopefully i'll be making this within a couple weeks
French Toast Casserole
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 loaf brioche or challah bread, sliced into 1 1/2 inch slices
8 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup whole milk
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Confectioners’ sugar for accompaniment
Pure Maple Syrup
* Combine the melted butter and sugar in the bottom of a baking dish.
* Make a nice even layer of the mixture to cover the entire area.
* Arrange the bread slices on top, squeezing them in place.
* Whisk the eggs, add all the remaining ingredients except the pecans.
* Pour over the bread, letting it soak in.
* Top with pecans and cover with plastic wrap. (The casserole will not look real moist, don’t worry I promise it will be so when you eat it)
* Keep refrigerated for at least 3 hours or up to 12 hours.
* Set out at room temperature for 20 minutes before popping into a hot oven set to 350 degrees(F).
* Bake until lightly browned and set, 35 to 40 minutes.
* Remove and slightly cook if you can wait a few minutes.
* Serve hot or warm with sorghum, cane or maple syrup.
* Serves 8

its actually just an egg wash. the eggs dont actually add much flavor if any at all, the flavor comes from the cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and other spices.

ive made one similar to this recipe before. since i enjoyed it and its savory i thought it might come close to filling your needs. oh, and you could definitely substitute the broccoli for some other vegetables. although if you put carrots in it i would suggest that you pre-cook them first.
Italian sausage-Broccoli Quiche
1 hour | 15 min prep
SERVES 6
* 1 tablespoon olive oil
* 1/4 lb hot Italian sausage
* 1 clove garlic, minced
* 1/2 small white onion, chopped
* 1 ready to bake deep dish pie shell
* 1 cup broccoli floret
* 1 cup cheese, any type you wish,i use half cheddar,half monterey jack,divided
* 3 eggs
* 1 cup half-and-half
1. Heat olive oil in a skillet; add sausage, garlic and onions and saute until brown.
2. Remove from heat and slice sausage into smaller pieces.
3. Arrange meat mixture in the pie crust; add broccoli and 3/4 cup cheese to the pie crust.
4. In a bowl, beat together eggs and half-and-half.
5. Pour egg mixture slowly over ingredients in pie crust, being careful not to pour above the ridge of the pie pan.
6. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup cheese on top.
7. Place in center of preheated 350°F oven and bake for 45 minutes.

It was good, I think it would do better if there was some sort of spicy vegetable and a bit of garlic. The Recipe posted would best serve 2-3 people.
Overall I'd give it an 8/10
Pro's: Very filling, new an interesting flavors, It would make an amazing side dish for something like steak or liver
Con's: After about half way through the new and interestingness wore off and it became a bit of a chore to eat but I cant exactly blame this on the dish.
Things I will do differently next time: less hashbrowns and more egg. I'd say that the egg to hash browns ratio should be abut 50/50 or more to the egg side. I'd probably put a bit of milk in with the eggs to make it a bit fluffy.

Who the fuck eats breakfast?!
Haha, kidding. I usually make muffins or something random like gingerbread french toast. Cause why not?
Food's always complemented with coffee or something else caffeinated. Lately, it's Joose. Booze + energy drink? Hell yes.

I rarely eat in the morning, food just seems gross then. Unless I got drunk the night before in which case i have a beer and some bacon.
