Try S25s company.

We used netfirms for the safehouse, many moons ago.. and it sucked. As we pay for our hosting, I am not up to date with reliable free hosts as of late.

...but stay away from scummy netfirms.

What were the Hosts that ripped T.Wedd and Rorta V.2 off. If they are still active it might be a good idea to avoid them...

What happened there was the contract ran out on the domain name and was scooped up by some bastard who wouldn't release it unless we paid him $100, which we weren't going to do.

Argh I see...

That was my take [And mistake.] on the situation after I read the T.Wedd thread. I mean, it could have been worse. I mean he wasn't the guy who charged several million for the Domain Name 'Pizza.Com'.

I would suggest godaddy.com, provided your doing nothing illegal. I spent like .99 on a .info domain..came with free hosting..for a year : ).

http://nodaddy.com/

This must be killing potential customers. The Google Search Result page lists it third on the searcg GoDaddy...

I use wetpaint and freewebs for site hosting and www.freedomain.co.nr for a domain name. It's completely free too for all of it.

I used GoDaddy a long time ago and now my domain is locked away in some resellers hands, and they never respond to my e-mails. I want that name back... It's been three years...

For my second domain, I went with namecheap and globat for hosting. No problems so far!
