I want a good quality printer/scanner/copier that I can use for falsifying documents and possibly counterfeiting. Are there any high quality printers that do not distort the image of the dollar? Also keep in mind I have a budget.

Are you sure that printer doesn't have anti-counterfeiting measures installed.
And I just want the printer to counterfeit and try to pass it of to people not stores. Like a flea market.

i am pretty sure, but like I said, you won't really pass off anything looking like trash at 400x400 dpi from some lexmark zr42 or some shit. Try your local college campuses, usually they have superb resources.

I can't run a fucking counter fitting ring out of a college campus. I'm not Danny fucking ocean.

none.
and the money that you would invest into one would upset the entire cost of profiting from false documents. leave that to factories in mexico and china.

dude don't be a bitch, go check out the college libraries, they are all but empty on a Sunday morning, they have clean, well lit table areas, cutting boards, laminating service, and VERY nice printers (dell 5k usd ones that print at 1200x1200dpi) all for cheap or free. Also some faculty buildings have computer labs that have good printers.

If you have to ask, you shouldn't be doing it. I don't mean to sound harsh, but why risk it? It's not something the gov takes lightly and it will ruin you. If you followed hamster's advice, you'd already be putting yourself at risk because laser printers produce tiny yellow images on their prints. This is an anti-counterfeiting measure and it enables the feds to trace the printer back to you. You're not going to be able to do anything worthwhile for $250 anyway.
There are plenty of ways to make money, and you don't have to turn to the illegal stuff to turn a profit. Ever heard of affiliate advertising and online marketing? I found this forum the other day and it's full of sweet ideas.

or at least be more resourceful and ready to take risk, like printing pre 96' 100 dollar bills and buying drugs with them. You WILL need a 1200x1200 dpi printer

My plan was to degrease $1 bills. Then print a pre 96' 100 on them and go to the flea market. The chances of getting caught by a bunch of illegal immigrants are very very low.
So wouldn't this http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/consumer/consDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&infoType=Specs&oid=63069457&category=Products
work.

Maximum Resolution
* 5760 x 1440 optimized dpi
that sounds goodl, do you happen to have scans of the 100s? Also I don't know if that printer has security features or not
EDIT:it's an inkjet, you need a laser

I was wondering why an ink jet wont work, does it make the paper to heavy and ink filled?

the speed at which you will churn out false documents on laser is much better than inkjet. it's much better quality sir. the cost that goes into toner will be less if you are planning on printing a lot.

I don't care about speed. And the ink jet looks like pretty high quality to me.

The issue with an ink jet and printing bills is that you need everything to line up 100%, and I know some ink jets are pretty damn bad at that. Why don't you pm me brother and we can discuss some other idea i have.

Inkjets rock on printing pictures.
Lasers on other hand usually suck at pictures but laser prints are more water resistant then inkjet prints.

I recently heard that inkjets are better then laser printers for making bills because laser printer's pictures are shiny.
