Well i havn't made a new thread in awhile, and i decided its about time. The minds eye is something a friend of mine told me about while we were completely blazed but its pretty interesting/fun.

Whenever you want to get in somewhere, restricted, without being stopped, get in free ect, all you have to do is press your 2 fingers to your forehead and do a straight salute to the person you are walking past. When you do this you have to focus on your "minds eye" and send the message to the person you are walking past that you are supposed to be there. In theory, the other person should understand and let you past with a wave or nod.

My friend has gotten into numerous movies/restricted areas for concerts ect using this.
Now some of the things that ruin the minds eye trick are
1. Laughing. They person will know you are just trying to get in somewhere your not supposed to.
2. Tripping stumbling ect. You have to act completely normal while walking past
3. Do not look blazed out of your mind.
4. Do not do a jerky salute. It has to be fluid and natural.

This is close to the minds eye salute

All he has to do is have his 2 fingers form a right angle to his face/forehead (covering the nose) and thrust his 2 fingers downward for the salute. This is supposed to be a fluid movement from arms at your side, to hand at forehead, to the end of the salute. Just do this as you walk past the guard to your restricted area.

Tell me if you manage to get in anywhere free with this :) If your adventurous just go to the movies, dont buy a ticket and do the salute as you walk past the ticket counter. (Not advised if a manager is present)

It seems quite plausible.

Research a guy called Derren Brown. Whether he's for real or not doesn't matter, it would still be the same principle. He does stuff pretty similar to this; paying people with blank paper, getting people to give him their wallets.

It's pretty interesting.

I think that would be considered slight of hand? If he is handing them paper money, and it is in the shape of a dollar, then he would be trying to keep their eyes away from seeing it, otherwise they would notice right away. some people are just really really good at this.

-i do not believe he is using a minds eye trick or hypnotizing them-

I don't think the Mind's Eye trick is telepathy, I just think that people tend to assume that you're legitimate if you act casually enough. Telepathy is more than simply focusing on your minds eye and trying to send a message.

I don't think Derren Brown is hypnotising people, but it's still the same principle as the Mind's Eye thing.

Confidence is the key.

The fact that you are so fluid and calm has the bouncer/doorman fooled into thinking your legit, and because you are so casual, they will feel it unnessicary to stop you and waste your time.

Deren Brown draws upon multiple practices, one of which is NLP - Neurolinguistic Programming

An acquaintance of mine went to University with Derren Brown and allegedly he spent years almost Sociopathically analysing peoples reactions to various things.

Such things involved him going dressed as a man injured by sever burns using elaborate make up. After recording their reactions he would reveal that he was not actually a burns patient, causing embarrassment to the people who had offered support and whatnot.

In other words Brown is a Cunt.

Ha wow, but was he really playing off of peoples sympathies for his own amusment or was he doing it in the name of science (understand human behavior better)

Knowing characters like Brown I'd say they'd claim it was in the name of Science but it was in reality a combination of Sciences and amusement.

Its just knowing how people react to things. That salute will tell the person to make the 'A-OK' reaction instead of the 'threat detected' reaction. I saw the darren brown videos and was very entertained. He used the peices of card in a way that the person receiving the cards did not have the mental awareness to raise a red flag. He timed everything perfectly so that he tells the person that hes giving them the money and just as they are about to look at the money, he says another comment about the money he just gave the clerk.

In the video he gets an 800$ bracelet from a jewelery store and takes a man's wallet and keys twice.

It's sort of Ironic that the guy working the hot dog stand was the only one who noticed.
