how to find chop shops, and quietly stealing rims

you can't really look in the phone book for chop shops and i seriously i have no clue where to start, my best guess as to where to start, is find a shady mechanic and ask him about some shops



so any suggestions?



AND ALSO-

i know how to remove rims from a car, but the proper way- with a jack and an impact wrench(LOUD AS BALLS!!) so considering i would do this at night, and would want to make as little noise as possible, how can i raise the car to remove the rims, and then remove te rims?

Just beat around the bush and they will either know what you are talking about, or not.

secondly, remove rims with a crossbar, scissor jack and bricks, but you will fail at that as well as most decent companies supply locking lugs with tumbler locks built into special breaker bars. You will need a high grade torch you can rent at AUTOZONE, NAPA, or some other place around you for pretty cheap. (oxycetaline or plasma)

Um, even the cheapo rims have locks that require a special key. I don't really know much about this stuff, but it doesn't sound like you do either. You should do some research before you go out and attempt anything.

PROTIP: A lot of people just keep the key in the glove box.
