Im having trouble finding info on lacrymators. So far I know that Xylyl
Bromide or ChlroAcetone are pretty easy to make. (because of the availbility to purchase such precurser material of a chemical nature)

First of all I wouldn't even mess with xylyl bromide, seeing as how it's a gas on synthesis, this can go very badly, trust me. If you're going to make something that goes directly to a gaseous state you might as well go with Cl gas...
If I were you I would go with the chloroacetone, it should be stored in a dark container (I would suggest a hydrogen peroxide bottle). It is a liquid until it's exposed to light, so synth it in a rather dark room, and store it. When needed simply pour on the area that you want to affect, and bam, you've got a rather highly effective tear gas.
By the way both of these are essentially tear-gas type weapons, in that they highly irritate mucus membranes etc, so I'm not sure what you're looking for...
Are you looking for a tear-gas effect, an incapacitant effect, or death? Once you answer that question I can give you ALOT more help.
