Be it casual dining, expensive dinner, or midnight fridge-buffet, what's your favourite dish? Note accompanying side dishes and drinks, as that in itself lends half the eating experience.

Mine would have to be hard-shell crabs, Chespeake-style. Shitloads of Old Bay seasoning, steamed (not boiled) with a hint of vinegar in the water to season the meat. Combine a bushel of crabs with a few ice-cold pints of Guinness or other stout, some nice yeasty, hard-crusted bread, and some watermelon afterwards, on top of great conversation. And that, my friends, is heaven.

bacon wrapped chicken with provolone or swiss, prosciutto or spinach or jalapeno stuffed into it. Mmmmm....season to taste. cook at 300-350 until bacon looks ready. usually 1 hour or so...gotta make sure the chicken and everything is cooked to perfection. should be a shitload of grease after you're done which you can make a gravy out of, or you can cover it with a reduced-cream gravy with peas in it...that's great with the spinach stuffed ones.

Very nice indeed...that would certainly hit the spot right about now. Stuffed chicken breast, breaded, deep-fried until the outside's crispy, then finished in the oven is out of this world. :)

a TealBurger fries and 3 Coca-Cola Classics in glass bottles.
you thought Hardee's thickburger was greasy big and amazingly tasty? you aint seen/tasted anything yet....

the tealburger starts out as 1.45 pounds of ground beef. fried to perfection. which after frying weights in at about 1.15 pounds. what is placed on the bun is some of the best: slaw, chilli, ketchup, onions, tomatos, pickles, mustard, mayonnaise, and lettuce.

now with the fries..you may say "hey, they're just fries, so there cant be too much changing to them." ahh, but my friend you would be wrong. these fries are fried in the grease that comes from the tealburgers themselves and seasoned with lots and lots of salt. then they are let sit for close to 3 hours under a warmer. that is when they are at they're best.

and for the cokes...they are ice cold right out of the sliding glass cooler. served at 89 cents per bottle but best when bought in the whole six pack.

and whatsmore is that on thursdays there is a special on tealburgers. tealburger and fries for only $3.50!!!!! the cokes are still extra but who cares!!

this is deep south soul food at its best.

Theres a place called the Navajo Hogan that serves a open faced burger (huge, Ive never been able to finish one) smothered in green chili with 2 huge slices of american cheese and shredded cheese, and bacon. With a side of cheese fries also smothered in their home made green chili its the total heart stopper add some whiskey or tequila wif it and its a wonderful thing.

But seeing as Im not driving 200 miles to get food now Ill just stick with my favorite dish of all time......

Totino's Party Pizza (Supreme) with beer (preferably cheap beer like PBR or Olympia)
fold the party pizza in half and pretend its a calzone, crank up Millitous-Livin In a Trailer Park and your good to go

Green Chile pwns. New Mexican home grown. On burgers, green chili chicken enchilada(spic style, not whitey), or just to munch on fresh.

Where is the Navajo Hogan? New Mexico somewheres? I go there regularly. I'll have to stop in on it. Ever been to Santa Gay? How bout Albutweaky? Belen/Los Losers?
