Torcher - To my knowledge it's a perfectly legitimate file. There's no reason for it not to be. Also 4Shared use Kaspersky Anti-Virus to scan all uploads so the chance of any nasties is small.

If someone can hide a virus in a PDF file they have my instant respect.
I have heard of hiding in a .jpg file, and a .doc file, but past that you would have to get REALLY creative.

I suppose you could have subtle links replaced and change them to links to 'Anti Virus 2009' or something similar. It's not that difficult but encoding a Virus into a PDF is difficult.
