As in insert one pick and open the door in 5 secs? no.
For me it takes a 1min or 2 to get a lock open if i don't rake it but when i do its usaly less than 30 sec.

But lock picking has always amazed me, I'm too lazy to learn/try it though. It’s a great skill to have though I’ll say that.

I don't think so unless it had a keyhole on the other side. Those locks are typically to keep people out when people are in the room.

Yeah, the one at my old place had a keyhole on the outside but inside there was a 'snib' that you could push down to stop anyone else outside getting in, even with a key.

The keyhole & the snib device must be separate mechanisms I guess.

Welcome to the forums DominoKett :smile:.

To make a signature, click on the User CP (http://forum.rorta.net/usercp.php) link in the top left-hand corner of the forum, and then click the Edit Signature (http://forum.rorta.net/profile.php?do=editsignature) link on the left-hand panel of the screen (below Control Panel / Settings & Options). You will now see a box to type in the signature you want, as well as add a picture if you desire. Once you're done, hit Preview Signature to make sure it looks the way you want it to look, and then hit Save Signature. When making a post, make sure the 'Show Signature' box is checked under Miscellaneous Options in the Additional Options dialog below the Submit Post or Submit Reply button. If all went well, you should now see your signature at the bottom of your posts.

If you want to either view or disable the viewing of others' signatures, click Edit Options (http://forum.rorta.net/profile.php?do=editoptions) in your User CP (Control Panel), and scroll towards the middle until you see 'Thread Display Options.' Toggle the 'Show Signatures' checkbox to your liking.

I am probably an old man compared to most here. I am a professional developer and a former U.S. Marine. My first computer was a Commodore 64. I taught myself assembly language for that processor when I was 12 (the machine was current when I bought it).
I now have a Linux cluster in my basement, and 5 or 6 Windows boxes for testing and development of my own side projects.

There's no such thing as an anonymous IP unless you have a fancy remote host setup. There's only higher and higher degrees of security.

Things like TOR are still traceable, the reason people use it and other things of the sort is that anyone trying to find you would have to go through an endless amount of red tape and seemingly meaningless code to find the info needed.

Just like if you use a paid proxy in N. Korea(or Iraq, Afghanistan, Russia .ect) and you commit a crime against the US, they would have a harder time(if not being impossible) getting the original source of the info.

Not bashing you for being safe, just don't spout newb info.

hi i'm the speednqueen..and yup. its just like it sounds. 27yr old mommy of 2 boys and i am intrigued my this place. ok so i stumbled onto this site twice already(totally by accident since i erase ALL my history-online and offline-literally every time i walk away from my pc). once the other day while i was 'researching' credit card cloning after seeing some shit on the news, and again today while 'researching' which font is best to fill in a blank money order. lol. this seems like my kinda site. but seeing as how not just 1, but 2 of my little brothers are serving time in fed. prison now since the fbi raided their house this time last year for counterfitting over $500,000 in $100 bills, credit card/check fraud, and id theft i am still a little leary and have never registered or even 'blogged' or whatever on a site like this before.. although it seems like it might be beneficial. my brothers taught me alot of shit and left me with some pretty cool programs, templates, and tricks. i'm still experimenting but haven't quite learned how to go about using some functions in certain programs -like adobe photoshop and the whole layering thing or how to find someones ss# online (if possible) so hopefully maybe i'll be able to get some tips on stuff like that...

Well, let me first introduce myself before I respond to the above quote.

I was lurking around b om bshock and at first I liked what I saw but as I began to actually read the posts I came to realize that bs was not the site for me. While lurking there I saw a link in another members sig pointing to this site called revelationx29a. I registered immediately after reading some of the content and by who there moderators are I knew that this newly found site has a lot of potential. Well, while lurking on there after registration I saw a lot of members talking about rorta so I figured I would check it out and so far the only problem I have is that a lot of the buttons are missing :banghead: . But I registered anyways as I wouldn't allow a simple image stop me from learning/teaching what I know.

To the above post...BS takes members like you, though there forums are quite dead I doubt anyone would care about your spelling but go ahead and try to pull that at RX, I seriously doubt you would make it past your first post.
