Your on the impact guns site... They sell to CO's and law enforcement. They can afford it and need to pay for the reliability and guarantees.

No LE has to pay that much, they can just ask some cast aways from the military (used to, now days there are not as much "spare guns" around) or theyll buy a brand new mp5 or UMP from H&K for like 1,2k max IIRC.

The LE is not under those gun laws, they can get fullauto guns if they want to, but most prefer semi auto buchmasters or colt patrolmans or similar.

This is probably because this was a pre-ban fully automatic assault rifle, fully automatic weapons are much more expensive than semi-auto, it is due to the fact that they are not made anymore so the price of them has gone up significantly
