These rules apply only to this forum.

In the spirit of keeping things on-topic here, the admins and mods have elected to write a few guidelines to remember and practice. Guidelines are subject to change.

Since this is a science thread, and everything in the sciences is well documented, use references/sources people can use to study. References for basic science discussions are not required if the knowledge is universally accepted and known.

In everything theoretical, please know what you're talking about and use references.

No debates in religion vs science.

Religious texts can be used to support a claim from an anthropological standpoint, but only to compare modern societies.

A few more additions I believe are appropriate.

Please use appropriate Spelling and Grammar. Simple as that. This board promotes intelligent discussion on matters that require a degree of intelligence. Consistent poor Spelling and Grammar is a poor demonstration of intellect.
Like all other boards on Rorta, minus the FL, there is to be no Flaming, regardless of people opinions, theories and religious beliefs.

Can there just be one general science vs religion thread?
