Interesting site, never knew that giant magnet could be used for something useful...

A person I know has an interesting idea? He is VERY good at tracking people down. Even better at intimation and forcing them to do what he wants. The economy falling apart has caused him to look to any method to regain income.

For example say you have a person you don?t like on or offline. This guy would find information on the target and then based on what the client wanted would deal with it. Want a person to back off you, he could take care of it. Hate the EX wife he?ll deal with her. Former boss pissed you off and want him fired it?s done.

He won't physically harm or kill anyone his service is purely non-violent.

Not a guy I'd mess with! He isn't sure where he could offer his services besides Craigslist and a few other online venues. What he wants is a better places to list.

You could advertise yourself as a "skiptracer" and see if you can build a bigger client base from there.

People do this service for a profession and have been for years. One Skiptracer reckoned his organisation has tracked 20,000 people down over 21 years. That's about three people a day.

You'll need good very good Social Engineering skills, you'll also need to be able to know how to search and to use resources. You'll also have to be a good liar and know how to talk people.

He was thinking more along the lines of using intimation and subterfuge to get what the client wants. Say to rid of a boss... plant childporn in his PC. Tough luck That's more what he was considering. Intimidating or destroying peoples' lives for a fee, a large one. That's an extreme example but shows the idea.

Tracking a normal person is usually not difficult. A few a pieces of information are usually enough to get a phone a number and from there Some BS call would net an address.

He is considering just advertising as a detective as an easy way to do this.

Still going to look into skiptracers, the more legal it is the better. First need to find one...

Oh god this is absolutely wonderful. How much does the average skiptracer charge?
