No, we do not need marijanua to survive. I, for example, have survived without ever smoking a single joint.

lol yeah. I read stuff ont here for quite a while last night. and we all know that the comment mad made was funny. have ya smoked a j yet mad? ;)
I started thinking about pier last night, and I'm wondering if PIER himself still has any of the backed up forum files sitting around. I highly doubt he does, but I was thinking about emailing him and asking if he had any. I doubt even more that he'd be willing to, but I'd be curious to know if he'd give the back up to someone so that they could put them up as read only somewhere for people who just want to sit back, read, and laugh and remember old times.
ah screw it... I'll see what else i can dig up later heh heh

I asked Pier for the backup of the UBB three months after he deleted it. He said he would have had no problem in sending it to me.
Shame I didnt ask him before that...

PWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA!!!!!
I check GZ, and what's the first thing I see?
In my community, we're having a rally in honor of 420 (both the date, and time of day) at a college. I dont' plan on going cause, you know, the whole I-dont-do-drugs-or-any-foreign-substances thing. But I was wondering if anyone had anything similar going on in their little corner of the world.
Wow, so much can change in such a short time....
*wipes away a tear*
Thanks for finding that!

[typical pier-esque flame] www.Google.com ! It's your friend!! Search fool! You're not going to be spoon fed here! Next time you ask such a simple minded, half-wit, lazy assed question I'll fuck you in the gut with a truck bumper at 70 miles an hour!! [/pier-esque flame]

I'm still so pissed that I missed the chance of getting the UBB backup by 3 months... Sure, it was a joke in the latter stages but that has been a live commentry to the majority of my teenage years. Shame a few page deep record on the wayback machine is all I have left as evidence.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Oh well though. This place will leave me with lotsa memories, and as long as this place gets backed up, then we can always read and remember. For some reason though I believe the general IQ of this board is a bit higher than the general IQ of pier.. some of the people there (including myself in the earlier days) brought the IQ way down

Well you can be sure that you will never lose a post you've made on Rorta.net
We back up regularly, and if something extreme happened, we'd make sure the staff have the ability to bring us back online. With out current team of Biovore, Dizzie, THErAPIST, madscientist and gbu-36, we're destined for at least a generation of sucess.
GO RORTA!!! WHOOOO!!!
(Yeah, Im a little drunk... but I havent been for a long time, so you guys have to give me this one! Go Rorta... goodnight!)

Ya know it really has been a while... still to this day I get random IMs at all hours of the night from people I don't know or don't remember. Like the one from DoctaD today that sent me here. I literally have no idea who that is... but as I read more the more familiar names started to show up, like Jedd and Mad and it all starts coming back.
So fellow anarchists. How goes the battle? LoL Don't answer that, cause I don't think I want to know. I remember when I found weirdpier.com freshman year in highschool, very thought provoking for a 13-14 year old catholic school "trained" kid (some 5 odd years ago now). I was never a conformist, still aren't and the people there shared similar perspectives. Then there was drama... a years worth and I remember vaguely the founding of a website called "The Safehouse". It would be the first hit found when doing a google search for those very words back then... Anyway we all got older and got some sort of ambition or motivation (read "jobs"), or didn't. It's nice to see though that after all this time some semblance of the community remains intact.
Anyway when reminiscin of old posts and rants and raves, I remember being a fairly decent contributor to the ramblings found on those pages. Perhaps not in shear quantity, but quality perhaps. Specifically... I would like to know if any of you remember, or even better, have a copy of one of my first posts at The Safehouse entitled "The World As We Know It" by yours truly... it would be awesome if I could read my ancient posts and reflect on the thoughts of the time. If anyone has any idea how I could specifically find my old posts or can offer any help in this area, Id greatly appreciate it.
Anyway... what's up guys. Seriously, how've you been?
P.S. If you don't remember me, fuck you I never liked you anyway.

I dunno if you remember me any, but i was around for a few months before you vanished. I'll look to see if there's anything backed up anywhere from the safehouse. What was the URL for the forum? I don't remember. Anywho, I've always enjoyed reading your posts, so I personally would have no problem at all with you posting here on occasion (or frequently) if you care to or have the time.
Nice to see that you're still around in some way though
