This is real rich coming from the guy who made a thread dedicated towards expressing hatred.
What do you think of this:
Anytime any person would ever think of something that they hate, either about someone or something, does that show single mindedness, close mindedness?
Let me know what you think.

People hate what they don't understand.

More specifically, feel threatened by the possibilities of what they don't understand.
I can't rationalise actually hating someone/something, but I can easily hate the way that certain attributes of someone/something affect me.

So what I'm hearing so far is that hating does implies close mindedness. If I'm mistaken please let me know. If not then that would imply that one who hates is one who does not understand. Another word for not understanding something is ignorance, or oblivious. I like oblivious, its nicer. With that in mind I try to expand my mind through love, with love I can achieve complete open mindedness or harmounious open mindedness. As to not make my mind(me) anymore closed than it(I) already it is(am) by polluting it with hate.
Thoughts and opinions please.

I came up with many reasons why people hate someone or something. Your question implied your answer, but even if people agree with you and tell you that you're right, to say that the best or only answer is the one shared with your conclusion, it still doesn't mean it's actually the best or only answer. Careful... :ponder:
