Also, to help the site grow, your help is needed. Link to us wherever possible... your blog or site, a friends? Anywhere the owner doesn't mind having our link up. The more backlinks the higher we will get in popular search engines and the more traffic we will receive.

The login function from the portal now works. I have pretty much all of the little bugs ironed out now. From now on you will be seeing big changes as new content and new features are added. If you have anything to submit: stone@rorta.net or doctad@rorta.net and any features you want added, let us know!

First suggestion would be to clean up the spam accounts. This is also a cirticism and will help both attract and retain quality members.

Also, if you are able to make the chat function actually work properly, could be a huge draw.

A report function or to be made a moderator ;-P
Moving the high traffic boards down so people have look over the smaller boards.
The ability to use smaller .gif avatars with less than 10 frames.
Slightly increased file attachment size
A dedicated section of the website to "submitted articals"

The smilies box popup (the list with _all_ the smilies to be divided into tabs so it is easier to see

It's being worked on, albeit very slowly. I may start from scratch, maybe even buy some themes for the site.

The advertisement point you raise is interesting and I think it's valid. But, we'd only be able to give emails to trusted members. We can't have the site shut down because someone decides to be a douche using their Rorta.net email. We've had issues with our host about legitimate emails the vB sends out so I think we'd have to think very carefully about this one.

I agree with most of what's posted above. But while I want to keep dumb shit teenagers away from rorta, i would also like to see the community grow, attract some new members with new ideas.

The date is and has always been attached to posts.
I'm pretty sure it's coordinated with the time you set when you signed up.
