Anyone played it?

You can take over stores & rackets & work your way from outsider to:

Enforcer
Associate
Soilder
Capo
Underboss
Don
And then finally to NYC Don.

You can purchase various weapon upgrades from pistol, snub nose to the street sweeper shotgun, bombs to take out rival businesses/rackets/drug fronts.

You get a regular income from businesses you've extored & rackets that you've taken over. It's quite a good game if you get into it, I've only gotta make another five or so grand before I can afford the ten shell street sweeper, most powerfull weapon you can get on the game. I've taken over most of Little Italy with the exeption of one family, strongest on the game. I'm still only a soilder.

I completed The Godfather for the PS2 & enjoyed it but this Dons Edition is amazing & comes with the Corleone expansion pack

All in all I recommend it.

Finished the first one, and the second one. The first one was better, for me too. I like it better than the older grand theft autos.

Aye, I thought you might be into mafia games etc what with you living in a fantasy land of meth labs & pimping.

Pwned.

They're asking for the Godfather II for ?10 at my local game store. However as per usual there's a catch. The only way I get the Godfather II for ?10 is by trading in my copy of Resident Evil 5, which apparently is a better game and is being sold by the store in question, for ?40. Lame.
