This game is fantastic. Always skipped it because my PC is shit, but turns out it runs pretty well. Anyone played it? :popworm:

Shit, I am having TONS of fun with this thing. I am on Test Chamber 17 (i think, just closed it out of frustration, lol), and am STUCK. :( Will pick it up in a few again, I'm sure.

Someone used the VTF files, textures and everything else in the game and then found away to access them via Garry's Mod, without actually owning the game.

its a puzzle game, you shoot somewhere in the room, walk through a portal and it puts you on the opposite part of the room.

That was a very basic description...lol. Obviously if you're not into solving puzzles then it won't be something you would get into, but they can get pretty complicated, and there is a storyline that has a good balance of dark humor and simplicity.

Portal is awesome.
I loved it, even if I'm not the puzzle type.
More FPS and RTS games for me.

I've got a copy of the original. It's about 500MB, but if I break it into WinRAR Archives it can be uploaded easily. We could start a Rorta server, I'm pretty good now as it happens.

COD4 is not that good, UT04 is far better in my opinnion.
COD4 is still a fine game though.

I'm fed up of CODfags constantly telling me what a great game it is and how it's the best game ever... Oh please... I could name ten games just as good, if not even better than COD4.

Half-Life 1 was better than any cod I have played. (Useless flamebait)
But as Th0r said, COD and it's analogs are good games, just good, not perfect. I have enjoyed playing COD2 and COD4, but I enjoyed Fallout 3 and Half-Life 1&2 even more.
