I was wondering if anyone has heard of the technique where bank bags are caught with treble hooks in the bulk deposit drawer?
A clear large pice of tape is affixed inside the drawer on the back lip holding a battery of several pieces of heavy mono line like 80lb test. with several treble hooks and when closed they fall in the box and can't be seen when box is opened to drop cash bags in. One opens the box pulls tape off taking mono fishing line in hand then pulling part way up just enough to get line out of the front of box when close. then close box and jerk mono line and it will pull bank bags back into the drop box. then open box and take out the envelopes and bank bags that attached to the mono line and hooks. I have heard of gangs doing this. Does anyone have any deep insight? ICE would like to know thank's

I have heard of this. You wont be able to pull the money back just like that because the drawer on the outside is to thick. You have to insert the catcher which usually has very strong industrial adhesive at the end. Because you can only pull the money from when the drawer is closed, you then proceed to attached end of the string to an automatic battery operated recoiler easily homemade. Secure the recoiler to the inside of the drawer and start that bitch up! Open and collect prize.

Chill out everyone. Don't destroy Rorta because you don't like someone.
I was reading recently that in Japan in the Eighties someone put a physical box in front of the depository box. People put their cash in and the guy nabbed the box at about 3AM. Investigators reckon the guy walked off with $300,000. It's never been done in Japan again.
My take on this is. In December* construct a box with the banks logo and everything else on it and put it beside the deposit entrance in a bank in a major city. Prevent CCTV from viewing you and place an official looking sign on the deposit flap. People will put their money in your box instead of the deposit box in the wall.
On the sign you'll want to place a phone number which is in fact a dead phone. Come back at around 3AM in the morning and remove the box and the sign.
*The reason you want to pull this off in December is simple. When is the month that most business's make the most income. December. So it's likely because of the way many businesses work that the most amount of money flowing into the deposits is going to be in the month of December. I wouldn't anticipate getting anywhere over 10K, but you never know.

This was done here in the USA . Guy was caught because he overslept collecting his large box by the employees when the bank opened.

my bad, i was drunk and blazed ;)
I also got my hands on a new piece, hm, maybe il upload a pic.
As towards that idea, i would think that even if the line didnt snap, then the rod may. Im sure it would be really tricky to get anything without getting the hook stuck.

Some people are idiots. Don't sleep while you're on the job. It's that simple.

People have made 300K with this method. I quoted a case study.
300K or a nap and the possibility of something fucking up?

What would you get anymore? Most businesses have to drop the credit card receipts and checks, but I don't think you'll find many depositing cash this way. Do they still do that?
The cc receipts are semi-useless since they aren't dumps and don't have the CVV. But they would have a signature so that might be useful.
Most of the after hour deposit boxes I've seen are a lot like the book drops at libraries, it's an "L" shaped door, so that when you pivot the door forward and the bottom part of the L prevents you from reaching into the box below. When you close the door any item you placed in the crook of the L then pitches into the box. I can't see fishing out past that, and most depositors are adamant about making sure their junk fell completely into the box and didn't get hung up on the door.
I've also seen banks that give you a key to the front door and you throw your late night deposit bag into the vestibule, then lock the door. Any other late night depositors with keys could easily swipe your bag, but it's still done. That's a serious honor system!

Thats why my method works it defeats the L problem by fishing while the door is closed. Another thing that has been done is if the box has a flap after the drawer so the money can't be fished which some do, one would pour water in and find a solidifying solution that instintantly turns it in to gel. for 75 cents you can solidify a glass full of water. So it would not be expensie at all and now the floor is higher up.

Æhµ - It's both quite possible that they do and don't. Obviously a massive amount of research would need to be undertaken in order for it to be a success, as with anything.
