Battlefield 2142
I think my trusty old Radeon 9800PRO (oc'd to 9800XT) is a bit past it now... It has served me well, runs HL2 on high settings, but time to upgrade I think. It struggles with BF2142 on low settings. I think I'll get a 7600GT to see me through until ATi release their DX10 cards and then choose from the best gForce or Radeon on offer.

Gears of War is the SHIIIIIIT.
I'm currently hooked on World of Warcraft. Rather, I was playing it, but the hook reinserted intself with the release of the Burning Crusade expansion that came out yesterday.

Basically the only game I ever get around to playing is Starcraft. And Furcadia, on occasion, I guess. And pulling out the NES on weekends, for some good old fashioned fun.

I don't play video games anymore. I stopped at N64 and PSX. I just couldn't afford getting a $300 system and paying for video games. I might get a PS3, if they can play PS2 games.
One of my friends has the Nintendo Wii, and that thing is just freaking awesome. I'm definitely getting that, the future of video games.
PC games I play once in a while. Mainly shooters or strategy.

If 300 made you flinch, the 599.99 (USD) pricetag on the PS3 will make you run out of the room screaming. I know I did when I first heard it. :(
Now that they're cheap, pick up a PS2 and see what you missed! :)

Wii is definitely the only new system worth getting. Cheap, and extremely fun. They jsut need some better game selection.

Rome Total War
Real men download the Total Realism mod. Just sayin'. :D
Also, chalk up Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri and Fallout 1 and 2 to my "now playing" list. The best strategy, and role playing games of all time.
(although I suck at Fallout and prefer Baldur's Gate, I gotta admit there hasn't been a game you can roleplay in quite like the Fallout series.)

You speak true, sai.
I waited from 8pm until 6am in below freezing to get my Wii. So worth it. Topped N64 for best party system. Wario Warez is great, one controller and a room full of friends, entertainment for hours. Mario Party 8 and Smash Bros OMG LOLZ.
Besides that:
Gears of War (360) easiest difficulty for speed runs and hardest just trying to get through it
Kirby Super Star (snes) Got all 60 treasures on Great Cave Offensive in one hour!
Taiko Drum Master (ps2) $30 for game and controller, $20 for extra controller, so damn fun you won't even be able to understand

I had to get my wisdom teeth out on Wednesday (A bitch. My dentist fucked up. Whole other story.), so I decided to go out and stock up on games and movies. I bought a 14 day trial of WoW, figured I'd see what all the fuss was about. The fuss must truly just be about throwing your money in the toilet, because its an allaround waste of time. I'm glad I only paid $1.75.
Luckily, I also bought Justice League Heroes for PS2, figured I hadn't bought a game in two years, maybe I should start. Wow! That game is a lot of fun. If you like the halo campaigns, and comic books, then you will love JLH. The controls are a little more simplistic, and there is a little less attacks than halo, but theres much more to it. Boosts, and power ups, and experience points, to unlock new aspects and alternate costumes and powers to your characters. Not to mention the ways you can interact with your surroundings. Plain and simple, its loads of fun. At least a good time killer anyways. Action-packed. Not to mention the great two player aspect. Even when its just you, you play as you and the computer. And you can switch out characters, or change the computers fighting style to your advantage. Need some good backup? Set them to offensive. Just need some stealth in case you get in trouble? Defensive. I enjoy it anyways.
