It just so happens that there's so much money to be made out of sports that the clubs can spend that amount and still make high profits. The taxpayers don't pay the athletes wages, the clubs do. You're missing some Punctuation, and a comma. You also have very
bad sentence structure; there is hardly any subject-verb agreement.
