That keeps the girls slim with a light build. Since so many girls are that shape, the rest just push themselves to fit in by being that shape. Just like in North america, girls starve themselves to look like models. There they still do that, but the more attainable goal is to just walk to work and stay fit with minimal effort.

My statement was conditional, so I question why such a response from you was warranted. (It's still a true statement, by the way.) I don't know what to do now... You see, I don't know how to undo a man's panties when they're in a bunch. You seem to have extensive experience in that arena, so I'll just let this all slide as water under the bridge and try to remember you're a newb flexing his e-penis.
