A liar, My noblest intention
When you ease into my
Lovesick fantasy
For more than I am is
Smothering me and
I'm looking to cast away
This tearing cloak of self control
And let the demons feed on
The petty tragedy of my broken heart.
I'l never be more than
Just a change in the weather
When you come to me in vengance
For your tainted memory
And peel away my secret skin
Giving me a reason to
Abandon the chain
Of humanity's grasp on the monster within
But the final obstacle to
An all bridges burned right of passage
Is blocked by what love
has come to mean personally
To my filthy and calloused hands.
