FAO: Admins {Several requests.}

Admins,

I would like to put foward my small idea of having a sub-forum within the "Pictures, Poetry & More" section of Rorta.

The forum would act as an archive and discussion area for all things graffiti, including:

> Word meanings from around the world.
> Handstyle techniques
> Flow control
> Paint fume dangers
> Police tag-list database updates
> Vandal squad updates
> History
> Crew information
> Famous writers
> Do's & Dont's (The unwritten rules of graffiti if you like)
> Changing cultures
> Links

This is just a small list of what I can/wish to offer the ever growing Rorta. I have plenty of time to monitor the section and what have you and I'm sure other members with an interest in graffiti would do nothing but their best to help out.

So, how about giving this a thought or two Admins, or at the very least a trial run?

Feel free to start a thread and take control of it. If it gets popular enough, then we may consider the idea of a sub-forum.

TBH I don't think theres going to be enough conversation to warrant a sub forum for this, however, you could write a FAQ of sorts including everything you would like to share with the community and if we find no problems with it, it can go up in the main site.

It's up to you how you do it from here, if you want to write an article and start a thread then do both, but theres going to have to be a lot of interest before a sub forum will be opened.

I also think this is a good idea as I am intested and an active participator in all things graffiti. I think I could add knowledge to this aspect of the site although i agree with DoctaD that i doubt this will generate a lot of interest because there aren't that many people on here interested in this topic...as far as know...if there were there would / should be at least a thread by now....

Inch, what would you be interested in writing about....you should tell me more about your exploits...off the forum of course... as i would be v.interested and could share my experiences with you (of which i have many)....what area are you from???

I would of course warn others about the dangers on tagging in school, keeping practice tags in the family home etc. Why I say school is because now I've, how will I put it? "Evolved" from a wannabe attencion whoar I realise and KNOW that having 100+ school kids know your tag is a bad idea.

I also know the workings of police investigators off the top of my head. How they try and snare you in and pull you for tags which have nothing to do with you, shit like "We discovered your tag on the wall of an abandon factory today, the reason we were there was because a fire broke out"... You know where that shit goes...

I can add chase storys, best suppliers etc. Don't get me wrong, I'm no expert but I live for graffiti now that I've been stone cold sober for seven weeks...

I could easily link it from my site, if I ever get round to putting it up online. I'm looking for partnership though and because of my paranoid mind I have to work around things abit etc. I don't want a shitty .tk or a shitty witty geocities page. I want a dot fucking org or a dot cunting com... No credit card and no cash it's hard but the main page is all ready and the name is pretty cool, although with certain happenings in the world today it may attract the wrong attencion but meh, bomb ze bass essai!
