A nutjob in Rio Brasil went into a pharmacy and took a woman (owner) hostage with a grenade, demanding money and drugs. Police special forces shot him in the head after an hour of negations.
The woman was taken to the Hospital in Andaraí and treated for shock. Link below with head shot.

Hostage with police shoot out, not really. A lot of crime though... bank jobs, atm's, kidnapping, killings and not just in Rio. I find it safe to be honest. You should visit.

What you should do in this situation is throw a jacket over your head and hold the victim under it too so a sniper shot just isn't clear enough.

I saw a guy do this in another video on TV but I couldn't find it on youtube. The cops couldn't shoot him.

I'd just use several smoke grenades, fire off a bunch of shots, drop the hostage and leg it.

The guy in question is an idiot.

He left himself exposed, allowed Pork to attempt to interact with him and barely moved. I'm willing to bet that if you gave a kid the same sniper used to kill that punk you'd get the same result.
