Final Fantasy: Advent Children

I had my initial doubts about this movie. After all, given the plethora of previous movies-inspired-by-games out there, they have yet to make one that nails it right on the head.

Holy shit, this movie nails so many things, it's like spending an hour with a Bangkok prostitute.

It does require prior knowledge of the game to truly understand just what's going on, but it does give a great prequel look before launching into the movie itself. The characters were all exquisitely animated, and even from a short distance, it's all but impossible to tell that everything in the movie is animation.

Anyone else seen it yet?

Blah, my mistake...the full title is Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. So, FF7.

i have wanted to see it for a while cause when i was younger i LOVED final fantasy 7, but i heard it's like $30 to buy, and i just got a $110 ticket, so i think it's going to be a little bit before i see it :(
