"makeover" shows

You know, those shows like "Extreme Makeover Home Edition, Pimp My Ride, While you were out, Monster House, etc". I think the concept is retarded, especially the home makeoever ones, what happens when your kids hate barbie and want a different room? The people that do it don't have the future in mind at all.. What do you all think?

Ive seen a few, back in my daytime tv days, where the people came into their new house and absolutely hated it... for prize moments like this, I praise the makers of such shit. For everything else, I run them over in my car.
