***********The following is all hypothetical of course****************
heres a simple scam, go to futureshop or your local chain that hires morons and sells computer equipment. Go buy two 1gb sticks of RAM for a notebook, the most expensive ones available. You can usually get some for ~300$ each for a total of 600$. also buy some el cheapo 128 or 256 sticks of ram, similar looking. I would recomend buying extended warranty on the store bought ram. Now all you have to do is return the 128 meg sticks in place of the 1gb ones. Make up some story like how you laptop doesn't support 1gb sticks. If you want to be really believable exchange the merchandise for sopething elso you want. If you just want to sell it all buy an ipod, if you dull it up with music you can get near the retail value. now you can sell the ram and ipod. Most of the time you can turn your 600$ into 900-1100$!
